With a heavy heart, Kyle Richards delivered a touching tribute to his late friend, Lorene Shea.
After a long battle with mental health illness, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s childhood best friend passed away at the age of 52 on May 1, 2022. A year after her unfortunate death, Richards remembered and honored Lorene on her social media page. To do that, the Bravolebrity uploaded an emotional message, with sweet and touching photos of the two sharing healthy moments.

Richards took to his Instagram timeline to share ten snapshots of himself and Lorene from childhood to adulthood. One snapshot, in particular, shows the dynamic duo in their teenage years. They sat with their knees drawn to their chests and smiled at the camera.

Another photo shows the friends lying on what appears to be a boat while wearing bathing suits. Photos from the collection show the TV personality and Lorene with their families, including Kyle’s husband Mauricio Umansky, on a mini boat.
The pair attended a Bravo event in one post and wore matching hats and handbags in another. The ninth image features the pals having a good time, where the 54-year-old is seen sipping her drink while rocking a sparkling long-sleeved dress with diamond accessories consisting of stud earrings, a large ring and a bracelet.
Unlike Richards, Lorene chose a small green string ensemble and smiled sweetly. In the last slide, the old friends pose with mutual friends, and they look happy to be in each other’s presence.
The accompanying caption also conveys how much he loves and misses his best friend. “One year without you & not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and wish I could call you to share, listen, laugh … the best friend a girl could ask for. Love and miss you so much, Lorene ❤️,” Richards wrote.

The intimate photos and messages highlighting the “RHOBH” OG’s longtime relationship with her late friend of more than 40 years come a year after the California native revealed Lorene died of mental illness.
Per a MOVE Reportedly, the mother of four captioned the post, “I never imagined I would post something like this…this is my best friend, Lorene. My best friend since I was seven years old. My other half.”
The “Halloween Ends” star called her friend a mother and wife and added that the pair “talk every day and share everything” with each other. Richards wrote, “We would laugh until we cried, call out to each other, and be there for each other no matter what was going on in our lives.”
The “Eaten Alive” actress went on to point out that when her friend’s “debilitating depression” set in, loved ones “rallied around her and did everything they could to get her help.” But to his knowledge, “The system makes it impossible to get the help he needs.”

In addition to losing his friend, the “Halloween Kills” actor had to deal with internet trolls who had one thing or another to say about his physical appearance and also those who accused him of using ozempic – a diabetes drug- to lose weight.
However, in March, The Blast saw how a fan pushed back against comments made about Richards’ body. The author of “Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real with the Housewife Who Do It All” shared a cryptic message alongside an image of her svelte figure in a body-hugging orange dress that showed off her tiny breasts.
The strapless dress features mesh material and silver sequins around the bust area. The socialite paired the dress with dangling silver earrings, a curly ponytail and silver pump sandals. As noted, the post was filled with naysayers voicing their unasked sentiments about her appearance. However, a famous admirer came to his defense, writing,
“Y’all are commenting on her body..be it positive or negative…can we appreciate the person inside the body instead of focusing on the size?!
