Lance Bass Claims Britney Spears Already Forgave Justin Timberlake

*NSYNC bandmate Lance Bass wants Britney Spears fans to know that she has forgiven her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

The former couple dated from 1999 to 2002, but the “Toxic” singer recently addressed the alleged infidelity and even an unplanned pregnancy in her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” which was released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

The pop star’s fans were quick to support him on social media, including in the comments on Justin Timberlake’s Instagram page. Some scathing comments prompted the “Mirror” poet to disable comments on his Instagram page.

Despite letting the now 41-year-old pop star and her estranged husband Sam Asghari finally meet their children earlier this year, it seems Lance Bass is backing the “Cry Me A River” singer.

On Saturday, October 28, TMZ caught up with Lance at LAX, who said he intends to read Britney’s memoir soon. Even though she hasn’t read the book yet, she is still aware of the headlines and fans’ reactions to her bandmates on social media and she thinks that fans should forgive her, as Britney said.

“I’ll read it on the plane,” Lance replied when asked if he had read Britney’s book. When asked about the audiobook version, Lance said, “It sounds amazing,” adding, “Maybe she should do my book,” joking that “The Woman In Me” narrator Michelle Williams should narrate her memoir, too, if she ever writes one.

When asked if it was “fair or unfair” for Britney fans to come after JT for an event that happened twenty years ago, Lance replied, “I mean, everybody has their own opinion. I just feel like the world is so full of hate right now that we have to practice some forgiveness. Britney does. So let’s take a note from her.”

“Everyone has the right to tell their story. He did, and you know, I hope the fans can, once again, find forgiveness, right?” he continued. When asked if he had spoken to JT, Lance replied, “I’m not going to talk about my conversation.”

When asked about the possibility of a new NSYNC tour or album, Lance replied, “There are no plans for a tour. There are no plans for an album. We’ll probably talk about it soon but nothing’s in the works right now.” When asked if he had his fingers crossed for that, Lance replied, “Definitely.”

Earlier this week, a source told TMZ that all of *NSYNC – including Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez are standing by Justin Timberlake following Britney’s allegations.

The insider also told the outlet that the backlash he faced did not interfere with his career plans. Although he’s quietly cut some club appearances from his schedule, his new single and plans for a 2024 tour are still in the works.

Most of the books are from 20 years ago … I’ve moved and it’s a pretty clean slate from here!!!”

“I’m here to set it that way for the rest of my life!!!” he continued. “Anyway, that was the last one and s— happened !! This is actually a book that didn’t know to write … although some may be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”

“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book is not to quote my past experiences that the press did and it was stupid and stupid!!!” he concluded. “I’ve since moved on !! #TheWomaninMe.”
