Stylist Law Roach insists that actress Zendaya is a support system after her sudden retirement.
The famous stylist surprised everyone a week ago with his decision to end his styling career. Not long after, it was rumored that the “Euphoria” actress caused the retirement of her stylist. However, Roach dismissed the rumours.
The “Legendary” judge recently spilled the tea on how Zendaya felt after her announcement.

In the model episode of Emily Ratajkowski’s “High Low With Emrata” podcast, the image architect discusses her styling career, her surprise retirement and how Zendaya took the news.

The podcaster asked Roach how Zendaya has responded to the news of her retirement and Roach candidly revealed, “It’s been hard for her.” He went on to explain that he, Zendaya’s assistant, and his niece are part of his “core,” so he thought he should be a part of the decision.
“He called [and] he said, ‘Girl, I think we’re going to make a big decision together,’” he told Ratajkowski – admitting that he broke the news before he talked to Zendaya.
Unaware of Roach’s decision, the actress supported him. Highlighting the outpouring of support received from the actress afterwards, Roach shared,
“He, of course, supports me. He was like, ‘Do you need me to send you on vacation? Tell me what you experience.’ And I, you know, talked to him about not being happy for a long time and still grieving over my nephew’s death… And he was like, ‘Whatever you need, whatever you need.’”
The designer addressed the backlash the “Malcolm & Marie” cast faced. “The Internet is cruel. Very cruel. So people started blaming him for my retirement and that was unfair to him.”
“And the things they say, of course, [aren’t] true. So that spilled over to my suffering, he began to suffer as well. And I don’t think that’s fair because he’s always protected me in this industry. And vice versa.”
Roach spoke briefly about the video that resurfaced online after his announcement. He pointed out that they were late for the show, and they didn’t know where they were sitting to get there. He states that “Spider-Man; Go home” the actor showed the seat to his assistant, not him.
When speculation about an ending relationship between Roach and the 26-year-old began, the style icon quickly shut it down. As we previously reported, the star’s stylist tweeted, “So you guys really think I’m breaking up with Z….. we’re forever!” In a subsequent tweet, he emphasized his bond with the singer. Roach declared, “She’s my little sister and it’s real love not fake industrial love.”

Making his point clear, Roach posted a gif meme of two little girls playing in a meadow with the words “Me & U Must Neva Part” written on it. He captioned the gif, “Literally me and Zendaya.”

Meanwhile, the fashion genius has not left the world of fashion entirely. Days after her announcement, the star’s stylist was spotted making her runway debut for Hugo.
This prompted him to clarify what he meant by “retired”. In an interview, Roach explained, “I’m not saying I’m retiring from fashion. I love fashion. I love business, and I love being creative. What I will retire from is the celebrity styling part: being in service and serving others. That’s what I’m going to retire on, yeah.”
Roach went on to reveal that his decision was a form of “self-care,” as his job primarily required him to put his clients before his well-being. According to Roach, “the Instagram post was not a PR stunt. I really gave myself the grace to say: It’s okay. You can do something else.”

Further, in the interview, he asserted that what made him put his clients first was partly a frightening experience he had as a child. He remembers sleeping hungry as a child, and growing up, he always felt he had to work harder so that the past wouldn’t repeat itself.
Additionally, Roach hinted at his next plans. He mentioned he would walk the runway and teach others what he learned. She said, “I want that to be my legacy, a legacy that I really help change people’s lives—and not just celebrities by putting them in the best clothes, you know?”
