Through her Instagram story, the singer shared her journey toward getting help and her continued commitment to prioritizing her mental well-being after she was diagnosed with “a number of conditions.”
Payne, who spent some time in a US clinic after hitting “rock bottom,” said he had recorded the video several times but struggled to post it before deciding to share it with fans.

“So I mean, I shoot a bunch of these over time and delete them, but I don’t know if this is the right time,” he shared. “I know in my last video I mentioned that I have been diagnosed with several conditions, and not too much detail, but one of them that I have is, there are a lot of crazy things in my life that you see. .”
He continued, “But the other side is, and that kind of feeling is like when I’m going to lose my cool in these really low moments, and I feel like that today.”
“And it took those two things apart and looked at them separately and like I know what it is now.”

Payne shared her struggle to inspire others who may be facing similar difficulties. She speaks candidly about the impact her mental health challenges have had on her life and emphasizes that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
“I’ve come to see how lucky I am to be in the position I’m in… and I want to give any of you struggling the gift I’ve been given by sharing some of the things I’ve learned from the experts while I’ve been away,” Payne shared.
He continued, “The first thing I do every day is check in, and it’s important that you don’t overthink it. That feeling is one of the amazing gifts we have, and I blocked it for so long that it made me sick and lash out… notice, let it happen, and let it pass.”

Payne openly admits that the criticism of his former bandmates was a product of his own insecurities and that he had to enter rehab in the midst of all that debacle.
“A lot of what I say comes from the wrong place. I was so angry at what was happening around me, and instead of looking inward, I decided to look outward at other people, and I took it out on other people, which was wrong,” Payne shared.
He added, “[Because of] my own frustration with my own career and where I landed, I took a shot at other people, which was wrong, so obviously I want to apologize for that in the first place because it was definitely not me.”
He Aware for Almost Six Months
In a recent video he shared on YouTube, Payne revealed that he has been sober for nearly six months after completing a 100-day stint in rehab. Payne spoke candidly about her decision to seek help and her continued commitment to maintaining a sober lifestyle, stating that “the party is over” for her.
“I just feel like I have more of a grip on life and everything that’s getting away from me, I just feel like I have more of a grip on it,” she said.
“I just need to spend some time on myself actually because I’ve become someone I don’t know anymore. And I’m sure you don’t either. I was in a bad situation until then, and I was very happy to put a barrier to life and work,” he added.
