Lil Nas X Calls Himself Mean, Refuting Evidence Of Being Friendly

Lil Nas X is once again in the media spotlight, not for his unconventional fashion style but for denying the “really good” gesture he made at the VMAs. While news of her delighting fans at the awards ceremony went viral, she dismissed the will via a Twitter update, stating that she was the opposite of “nice.”

Responding to Pop Crave’s news of the testimony, Lil Nas X tweeted, “This is not true. I’m so mean personally. I’ve slapped fans for mis-singing lyrics to industry babies.” His statement contradicted delighted fans who shared their experience in a now-viral Reddit update about meeting the Georgia-born rapper up close for the first time at the VMAs.

The fan believed he was really friendly and revealed that they took some “cute” selfies together without Lil Nas X being a “hole” like some other celebrities tend to do. In the words of an avid supporter of the meeting, “It’s great to meet someone I admire and know they’re a genuinely nice person.”

While many fans around the world may be taken with the “Old Town Road” soloist, BET doesn’t seem to share the same sentiment as they don’t hold it in high regard for surprising reasons. The Blast reported the cause in July, revealing that the dispute had been brewing for a while based on Lil Nas X’s revelations to Rolling Stone.

Given the history between BET and the 23-year-old songstress, she admitted that their relationship has been “painful and strained” over the past year. It all probably started with the release of his pop-rap single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” which angered a number of religious and conservative groups. Sparking even more outrage, the song’s video showed her showing off her pole dancing skills and spins in a fictional Hell.

Lil Nas X also drew a lot of criticism for his partnership with the MSCHF company to release the controversial “demon shoes” made up of drops of human blood. Soon after, he was separately accused of allegedly worshiping Satan, a belief BET also shared as they did not allow him to perform on their 2021 show before confirming his religious views.

The Billboard icon recalled the painful event by explaining that he was not allowed to go on stage until he convinced the network and promised that his performance would be suitable for their audience. BET seems to have done exactly that, as an insider from the singer’s team revealed that the show’s cast probed them about what they would be doing on the show before allowing her on stage.

Unfortunately, her performance was met with disappointment as the network felt she was using it after she kissed one of her dancers on stage. The source confirmed that the publisher was not satisfied. They said, “After [Lil Nas X] came off stage, one of the BET producers came up to me, and before I could open my mouth, he looked at me and said, ‘That’s really messed up.'”

However, a BET representative claimed otherwise, explaining that the contestant actually enjoyed her 2021 show and has been in contact with the CMA receivers team to work together on an upcoming project.

Grammy Winner Portrays Marilyn Monroe On Twitter, Reveals What Alter Ego Looks Like

Lil Nas X caused a stir on social media not long ago by belting out “Marilyn Monroe” from the hit 1955 film “The Seven Year Itch.” The Blast reports that he used Monroe’s appearance to reveal his alter ego, Marilyn Montero, with several pictures and a two-word message on Twitter introducing his new face.

Note that the classic film features Monroe’s famous white dress blowing over her head as she stands on the subway grate. The “Panini” vocalist not only follows the style but adds some edge. She rocked a white open button down blouse in a deep V cut and paired it with a floor length white pleated skirt.

She completed her look with a thick silver necklace and white platform boots that had a transparent heel. In addition, instead of going blonde like Monroe, she opted for a curly bob similar to her hairstyle in the film.
