Given the many upbeat responses, it’s safe to say many are eager to watch the “Juice” singer do her thing on the sitcom. However, fans better pay attention while watching the season 34 finale because Lizzo will be voicing not one but two characters.
Entertainment Weekly revealed that the Apple Music Award winner will also play the role of a little green elf. Premiering in May, the season finale titled “Homer’s Adventure Through the Windshield” follows the sitcom’s lead, Homer Simpson, flying through the windshield of his car during an accident.
The show’s executive producer Tim Long explained that Lizzo will play a “happy little elf doll” who comes to life to be Homer’s spirit guide after the collision. Although the 34-year-old uses the word “b***h” constantly, his character becomes friends with the lead actor.
Additionally, a multi-dashed star flute will also appear. Long revealed that the singer performed with Lisa at the end of the episode. However, the producer did not give any spoilers but assured the fans that it will be a surprise.

A two-year renewal for “The Simpsons” will bring the sitcom to its 35th and 36th seasons, making the comedy show the longest-running scripted series in television history. Meanwhile, “Family Guy” will enter its 22nd and 23rd seasons with a renewal.
On the other hand, “Bob’s Burgers” seems relatively young compared to other shows, as it will enter its 14th and 15th season after renewal. Thanks to the contract, all three shows will continue to air from 2024 to 2025.
Regarding the broadcast extension, FOX Entertainment’s President of Scripted programming, Michael Thorn, stated that the renewal proves the “power” of their network’s animated genre. It also celebrates FOX’s longstanding partnership with 20th Television.
