‘Love Is Blind’ Star Micah Lussier Responds To Paul Peden’s Claims About Breakup

Micah Lussier lets “Love Is Blind” viewers know his perspective on his experience.

Lussier rose to fame during the fourth season of the popular Netflix reality series. The audience’s perception of the 27-year-old marketing manager was very different from the beginning. The Blast has covered many aspects of her time on the show, including the downfall of her relationship with Paul Peden.

Lussier connected with the 28-year-old environmental scientist while in the pod after he also discovered she had chemistry with fellow actor Kwame Appiah. She then broke off her relationship with Appiah to be engaged to Peden.

The two were then the only couples left this season who didn’t get married at the altar. Lussier was widely criticized on social media for his insistence on giving his answers first. Peden says “no” and then tells the camera she can’t see Lussier as a mother.

Peden Then Told TMZ Cameras About The Fate Of Their Relationship

TMZ recently stopped Peden during an airport stop. He commented on the ex-couple’s revelation during the Netflix reunion they had after filming. The two insisted on sharing that their ‘second act’ didn’t last long.

The reality star revealed in an interview that Lussier ended their relationship after Peden visited her in Arizona.

She also revealed that Lussier had gone on holiday in Europe with another man after the breakup. On camera, Peden appeared to insinuate that the break had happened shortly after their split. However, she would later explain in her Instagram story that there was a lot of time between the couple’s breakup and Lussier’s vacation.

According to our report on Peden’s interview, he claimed, “[Lussier] immediately went to Europe with some random people, some random people, and I was like, ‘Okay, great.”

In the explanation of her Instagram story, she assured her followers that the vacation took place “a few months apart” Lussier and her new mystery man started dating and the “Love Is Blind” couple broke up.

“We had broken up at that point, and he had the right to date anyone, and so did I. And the vacation wasn’t even months after they started dating and we had broken up. Just because it hurts me doesn’t mean it’s wrong.”

Lussier acknowledged the interview on his Instagram story, reposting and responding to his ex’s discussion.

“Realistically, a ton happened between Paul and I that not everyone gets to see or experience. Before AND after the show,” explained Lussier. “There is true love, and with true love comes real wounds…”

She goes on to reveal her hope that Peden will extend the same kind of grace she plans to show her ex.

Lussier Responds to Peden’s Claims About ‘The Viall Files’ Episode

Former ‘Bachelor’ star Nick Viall’s podcast is a popular hangout for the reality star.

The author of “Don’t Text Your Ex Happy Birthday” has interviewed several “Love Is Blind” contestants, including season three’s Raven Ross and, most recently, season four’s Marshall Glaze.

Thursday’s episode of the podcast featured Lussier as his guest, and he addressed several factors about his “Love Is Blind” experience, including Peden’s TMZ interview above. He directly commented on Peden’s comments about his alleged vacation in Europe.

Viall noted that the release of the interview came after Lussier recorded an episode of his podcast, and that Lussier “generously” obliged his request to share his perspective.

He told the host, “Yes, Paul is here making some demands. It’s been publicized that he moved on pretty quickly after our breakup, you know, with other people in the cast, and that’s his right. I was never mad about that; I’m not mad about that. And you know, I went to this Europe that he talked about a few months after we broke up, and that’s my right too. We are both single people, deserve to be happy, and we deserve to find our ‘person’, unfortunately, it’s not each other, which sucks. It was annoying and it still is, but it is what it is. It’s been a year, and I think it’s time to move on,” he concluded.

The post-show Peden relationship Lussier was referring to was with 29-year-old Wendi Kong. Kong isn’t seen much on camera, according to E! News. Peden also revealed to the outlet that their chemistry was “almost too much.” He also tells them their courtship is not exclusive.

“I like myself, but I don’t know if I like myself so much that I want to marry myself,” she said. “We are alike.”
