Robert Crimo was born to his parents Bob Crimo or Robert Crimo Jr. and Denise Pesina. He was born to his parents on September 20, 2000 which made him 21 years old when he was arrested. According to his prison profile, he stands tall at 5-foot-11 and weighs 120 pounds.

Unfortunately, Robert Sr. died October 26, 2018. He was born December 23, 1929. He was preceded in death by his brothers Sam “Chubby’ Crimo and Tony Crimo, sister Yolanda Whitehurst, and niece Patty Thompson.

Paul Crimo, Bob’s brother also spoke to CNN. He said he saw his nephew on Sunday evening sitting on a recliner at home and looking at his computer. “Everything is business as usual,” said Paul.
Paul Crimo said he never saw the suspect engage in violent or related behavior. He also did not know the political views of his nephew, who described him as a “quiet” person. Paul added, “He’s usually alone. He is a lonely and quiet person. He keeps everything to himself”.
“I’m very sad for all the families who lost their lives,” said Paul Crimo.
In July 2022, Bob Crimo is 58 years old.
Bob Crimo is the owner Bob’s Pantry and Deli Inc. As a human being, for him, interpersonal interactions are very important and this business allows him to do those interactions while providing a unique service to Highland Park and the surrounding community.
Additionally, Bob added that Highland parks provide “a safe, clean and supportive environment for family-oriented businesses to operate”. So, he ended up starting Bob’s Pantry and Deli Inc.
In 2013, he was interviewed by Chicago Tribune. Speaking about his business, Bob shared, “The biggest draw to the store is the deli. Fresh meats, cheeses and garnishes make our custom-made sandwiches the No. 1 seller. 1. We also offer a wide variety of grocery items, dairy items and new items of ice cream”.
Bob adds that his store offers a place not only for delicious food but interesting conversation as well in our seating area. He said, “This is a unique aspect that you cannot find anywhere else except in a family-run, family-oriented store”.
Bob also owned the White Hen Pantry in Ravinia for over 18 years before it was bought by Seven-Eleven in 2007. Then, he was left without a store and without a job. In total, he has 39 years of experience working in the business.
However, Bob deleted his LinkedIn which hindered further searching for information about his career. In 2019, he ran for mayor but failed. Calling himself “a man for the people,” he was defeated by the city’s current mayor, Nancy Rotering, a Democrat, whose campaign touted the importance of gun control, the Independent reported.
