Mother’s Day is this Sunday, which means all mothers and mother figures out there should be showered with love, support, flowers…or chocolate.
While many women will be celebrating the big day for the first time this year, we’re focusing on all the Hollywood stars who became mothers this past Mother’s Day. From Adrienne Bailon to Keke Palmer, all the starlets are debuting as first-time moms on May 14!
1. Adrienne Bailon & Israel Houghton

Although they have been married since 2016, Bailon and singer Christian made their debut as parents last August with the arrival of their son, Ever James. The power couple shared the shocking — but welcome — news with their fans with an Instagram post that included a photo of them gazing lovingly at their son.
The behind-the-scenes look was made even better by the caption, which they used to express their “joy and love & gratitude” after years of trying — and failing — to conceive. Although the baby boy is Bailon’s first child, she is stepmother to Houghton’s four other children from previous relationships.
2. Bre Tiesi & Nick Cannon

While the public has gotten used to news of Cannon impregnating women faster than they can blink, it’s still a problem when Tiesi welcomes her first child with him in July 2022.
The model, who was previously married to Johnny Manziel, welcomed her little one Legendary Love Cannon via a “natural, unmedicated home birth” that saw her baby daddy cut the child’s umbilical cord.
The Los Angeles-born beauty also captured the intimate moment on camera and shared it online along with a trigger warning for those interested in a “real & raw natural birth experience”.
3. Gina Rodriguez-LoCicero & Joe LoCicero

The famous “Jane the Virgin” star welcomed her first child and son on March 19, and she’s been in “newborn heaven” ever since. Even before the big event, Rodriguez has used every opportunity to talk about her pregnancy and her supportive husband, once claiming she was “very happy” about the event.
Even so, the “Someone Great” star and her husband didn’t reveal the name of their son — Charlie Ray — until more than a month after his arrival. Rodriguez-LoCicero announced her pregnancy on her 38th birthday on July 30, 2022.
4. Heather Rae El Moussa & Tarek El Moussa

Heather’s journey to motherhood, which apparently began last July, culminated in the birth of her first child with Tarek on January 31, 2023. The excited new mom shared the update in a joint Instagram post featuring a heartwarming photo of her and her husband hugging each other in a bundle of joy . The doting parent wrote below the image:
“Our baby boy is here ? 1.31.23. Mama & baby happy, healthy, tired but healthy. Our hearts are so happy ❤️.”
Two weeks later, the star of “The Flippling El Moussas” revealed, via another Instagram post, that their little one’s name is Tristan Jay El Moussa. Heather is also stepmother to Tarek’s two children, whom he shares with his ex-wife Christina Hall (née Haack).
5. Hilary Swank & Philip Schneider

Although welcoming her twins — a boy and a girl — wasn’t “easy,” the experience was “worth it” for Swank. To prove the point, the “Camp Wilder” actress showed off her newborn on Easter morning as they enjoyed watching the sunrise over the sea on her shoulder.
The April 9 arrival of the twins was no doubt a surprise for the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum, who previously shared that their due date is April 16 — a day that means a lot to her. If they arrive on that day, they will share the same birthday as their dad Stephen Michael, who passed away in October 2021. Regardless of their arrival date, Swank couldn’t be happier with her “miracle” baby.
6. Jenna Johnson & Val Chmerkovskiy

Johnson’s world changed forever when she held her first child, Rome, in her arms at the beginning of the year. As expected, the occasion was celebrated by her fans and celebrity friends, including Tamar Braxton, who wrote, “Omg, she’s here ❤️,” under the announcement post.
Since then, the doting mom has been giving fans occasional sneak peaks at some of her sweet moments with Rom. The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant celebrated her four months on earth with an Instagram post, showing her appreciation for her “slimy baby.”
7. Kaley Cuoco & Tom Pelphrey

Cuoco joined the list of new moms with the birth of her daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, on March 30. The couple’s joy at the milestone has been documented on social media, with many images featuring each parent loving the “new light” in their lives.
In her latest update via her Instagram Stories, “The Big Bang Theory” alum told her fans that she had “finally found a baby diaper that’s easy to wear,” along with a photo of Matilda resting on her chest.
The new mom initially announced she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend last October after they made their first public appearance at screenwriter Greg Berlanti’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
8. Keke Palmer & Darius Jackson

Palmer introduced her baby boy, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, to her 12.5 million followers with clips and images of the newborn and a string of hilarious first-time parent posts, including Drake’s famous reference, “I don’t hide the world from my son, I hide my son from the world .”
The “Madea’s Family Reunion” child star first announced her pregnancy news in front of a nationwide audience during her “Saturday Night Live” hosting stint in December.
9. Kelly Osbourne & Sid Wilson

Sharon Osbourne became a fifth grandmother when her only daughter Kelly recently welcomed her first child with boyfriend Wilson. Although she didn’t reveal the exact date the “Fashion Police” alum gave birth to her son Sidney, the happy grandmother beamed during an appearance on “The Talk” in January:
“[The birth was] very great, very great. He won’t let the pictures get out of him, and I’m very proud of him.”
Speculation that Kelly had given birth first swirled last November when she posted a cryptic message that read, “Ok, here we go,” via her Instagram Stories.
10. Paris Hilton & Carter Reum

“The Simple Life” star let the world know that she secretly gave birth to her newborn with a cute photo showing her holding him on January 16, 2023. Although the heiress has kept her child’s online posts to a minimum, we have no doubt that the boy, named Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, feels “loved beyond words” by his new family.
Hilton previously discussed the tot during an episode of her podcast, “This is Paris,” stating, “From the moment I saw her, my heart felt so full. I feel like my life is so complete now. I’ve always wanted to be a mom.”
11. Rebel Wilson & Ramona Agruma

While many of the stars on this list are carrying their first baby themselves, Wilson chose to use a surrogate for her. The Australian native announced the arrival of her baby girl in an Instagram post accompanied by the caption:
“I’m forever grateful to everyone involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…but [I] especially want to thank my beautiful surrogate who carried him and gave birth to him with such grace and care.”
The girl, named Royce Lillian, was born on November 7, 2022, and the “Pitch Perfect” actress has taken on her new role as a parent with her partner, Ramona Agruma.
12. Rumer Willis & Derek Richard Thomas

The eldest daughter of actor Bruce Willis and actress Demi Moore confirmed the birth of her first child, Louetta Isely Thomas Willis, in a joint statement posted on Instagram. Like Tiesi, Rumer welcomed her miraculous daughter in a home birth on April 18, giving her parents more than they could have ever dreamed of.
Many fans saw the news as a much-needed breath of fresh air for the Willis family, who have been dealing with Bruce’s health problems following his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in February.
13. Sharna Burgess & Brian Austin Green

Burgess has been over the moon since her heart was placed outside her body with the birth of her first child with her partner, Green. The Australian ballroom dancer updated his fans with an Instagram photo of the newborn holding his father’s index finger, giving them his name, Zane Walker Green, in the caption.
Burgess gave birth to the boy by cesarean section, although she had expected to welcome him via vaginal delivery. While parenthood is becoming a reality for her with Zane, her lover has four more sons from previous relationships.
