In her latest Instagram post, the 69-year-old model shared several throwback magazine covers, including one featuring her in a white bikini for the cover of You Magazine, which was published on March 5, 1989!
“I’m digging through some old @youmagazine covers and I LOVE @davidhockneyofficial,” she wrote in the caption. One fan commented, “I had the magazine at home @christiebrinkley from The Mail on Sunday… Loved it then & love it now….the pic could have been taken yesterday as you really haven’t changed at all….”

Earlier this month, the popular model took to Instagram to share a photo of her posing for Us magazine on the cover published on July 4, 1983. The caption read “Hot Stuff: Sexy Celebs Rev Up For Summer Madness” and featured a young Christie posing in a strapless white bikini with a pink skirt rolling down her legs.
“Throwing it back to the days of this hot stuff in 1983 … Now in 2023 it’s more like throwing your butt off and reaching for some hot stuff to put on it! Just before the post, Christie took to Instagram again to share two photos featuring four baseball cards. In one 1996 photo of Christie, she is kneeling in the sand on a beach. He wears a pair of daisy dukes and has an open book covering his chest.
“To celebrate Baseball’s Opening Day Today, I’m thinking back to when I was hired as a photographer by the Pinnacle Baseball Card Company to photograph the two teams that made the World Series Finals, the Indians, now called the @cleguardians and the @braves,” he wrote in caption.

Even now, the popular model doesn’t mind sharing pictures of her bathing suit on social media. In April 2021, the “American Style” star spoke to Fox News Digital about why she posted the photo.
“I’m posting these pictures because I hear from women my age all the time saying, ‘Thank you for changing the way people think about numbers,'” she said at the time. “Back then, numbers represented something. I remember people thinking that after 30, you can’t wear your hair past your shoulders or that your hem has to be past your knees.

“I’ve always found the rules very limiting,” Christie continued. “Every person is different, every person is unique. But it’s like telling a gymnast she can’t do intervals past a certain age. It doesn’t make sense. If you have great legs, show them off. If there is something about yourself that you really like, celebrate it. Don’t be controlled by that number.”
Christie joked, “I’ve been there, done that,” when asked if she’d pose as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl, adding, “I doubt it.” She then added, “I think when I put on my bathing suit again, I’d also like to snorkel and dive, see the fish.”
