‘Who is that woman?’ Whoever he is, he won’t be on Netflix much longer!
“New Girl,” Fox’s cult series starring Zooey Deschanel, Hannah Simone, Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris, and later Megan Fox, has amassed a decade-long lifespan on Netflix. However, the “New Girl” will soon be moving on to pastures new; the series, which originally aired from 2011 to 2018, will leave Netflix next month.
Netflix has had a rough year. The once prominent streaming service has faced a decline in popularity following massive layoffs, several show cancellations and an unpopular effort to reduce password sharing.
Inside Netflix’s Controversial Effort To Reduce Password Sharing

The Blast has covered many elements of Netflix’s difficult year in 2022.
Last month, the streaming service received a lot of backlash after a list of password-sharing rules went viral on social media. Efforts to crack down on password sharing have begun to be implemented by the company internationally, but Netflix has yet to launch any kind of plan for the United States.
Forbes Australia’s original report on the shared rule states that users are required to log into their account from their main WiFi network once a month. Failure to do so will result in the user being locked out and unable to access their account.
This rule still applies even if the user is away from their main account for any specified period of time, such as if they go on vacation. The user will then be given a temporary login code that will be valid for seven days.
An unnamed source from Netflix later responded to the viral conversation and revealed that a list of fixes was mistakenly released and posted to their official Help Center.
“For a short time yesterday, a help center article containing new information that only applies to Chile, Costa Rica and Peru, went live in other countries,” the source shared. “We’ve updated it.”
Netflix has also announced plans for a “paid sharing option,” set to roll out by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
“While our terms of use limit Netflix use to households, we recognize this is a change for members who share their accounts more widely. Therefore, we’ve been working hard to build additional new features that enhance the Netflix user experience including the ability for members to check which devices are using their account and to transfer profiles to new accounts,” CBS News reports, according to The Blast’s reporting of the viral news.
