Nick Cannon’s status as a famous baby maker may be over! After welcoming twelve children with six different women, the Nickelodeon alum is finally considering a proper family show.
From his award-winning career as a multi-hyphenate entertainer to his outspoken lifestyle, the rapper-turned-actor’s name is a household name. In recent years, his concept achievement has been the center of gossip and criticism.
Despite often receiving criticism for his grown children, the 42-year-old continues to air his joys and sorrows openly. In a recent uncensored interview, the San Diego native admitted he might retire his bottom to be a better father.
Nick Cannon Seems to Imagine No Babies Newly Says He Wants to Appreciate His Kids
The “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” star appeared on the latest episode of Dr. Laura Berman “The Language of Love.” Snippets from the heart-to-heart session were shared on the relationship therapist’s Instagram.
As seen in the footage, the media personality questions the father of twelve about his plans to make babies in the future. The “Uncovered with Dr. Laura Berman” host wondered if there was a place for a “vasectomy” in the entertainer’s life, answering her own question by claiming there wasn’t.
However, the “Drumline” actor contradicted himself, revealing that he had considered getting the procedure. According to the San Diego native, she wants to be more “intentional” about her children rather than making babies without proper planning.
The Howard University graduate said: “You never know. I must have stared deeply. I no longer want to default. I want to be more intentional with life, especially when it comes to creating life.
The NAACP Image Award winner admitted later “Because I love all my children, but I may not mean it,” adding that she left her children’s conception to fate. “I was like, ‘Oh, if it happens, amazing. God’s miracle.'”
After welcoming twelve children this way, the 42-year-old realized he couldn’t continue bringing children into the world without being able to spend quality time with them. “No matter how much money you make, you can’t buy time,” Cannon said.
“So I want to be serious in all their lives at this time, and I don’t want to spread other people who are thinner than they already are,” the multi-hyphenated star declared, as if hinting that she will not give birth to a new baby.
This isn’t the first time the “Real Husbands of Hollywood” alum has discussed his thoughts on vasectomy. A few months earlier, the San Diego native revealed he was close to undergoing the procedure in 2022.

During an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” the TV personality explained that she had a vasectomy consultation last year shortly after announcing the pregnancy of her eighth child. However, his decision was influenced by community pressure.
“It’s a scary thing,” Cannon lamented when asked about the consultation. “I feel depressed. I feel like the world is trying to get me to have a vasectomy. I don’t operate well under pressure. My body, my choice.”
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award recipient added that she got vasectomy advice from strangers. The entertainer stated that he was probably walking down the street when someone randomly stopped him and said: “‘Man, you gotta go here?'”
The “Gigolo” rapper first voiced her displeasure with how people think about her body during a virtual appearance on CNN’s live New Year’s Eve special on December 31, 2022. When one of the hosts, Andy Cohen, asked the 42-year-old to consider getting a vasectomy, Cannon wryly replied: “Is that what you want me to get? It’s my body, my choice!”

The podcaster commented on the TV personality’s baby-making skills, noting that he successfully impregnated several of his partners while they were on birth control. In response to these claims, the “Wild ‘N Out” host humbly said: “I lend God that kind of stuff. That was a miracle.”
Referring to her faith, the “In the Bedroom With Dr. Laura Berman” star compared the San Diego native’s great lineage to Abraham, noting that the biblical character also fathered many children.
Cannon replied: “I’ve never heard that clear, but I’ve heard, ‘Yo, you’re going to be a father to a lot of people. You’re a great influence; your offspring, and your offspring are going to do great things.'”
