Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, have been ordered by a judge to pay a large sum of money for allegedly assaulting a security guard in 2019 at one of the rapper’s concerts.
The court order comes a year after Nicki was sued by security guards, who accused Petty of battery and infliction of emotional distress and sought $750,000 in damages.

According to court documents obtained by ExplosionNicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, have been ordered to pay $500,000 in a settlement to a bodyguard who sued Petty last year.
The pair were sued by the rapper’s former bodyguard, who claimed Petty assaulted her after a Nicki concert in Frankfurt, Germany, in 2019.
The bodyguard, identified as Thomas Weidenmuller, who lives in Germany, claimed Petty punched him in the face and later sued the couple for $750,000, citing battery and infliction of emotional distress.
Although Weidenmuller was not awarded the exact amount he requested, the couple still had to pay $500,000 in damages.

Nicki and Petty were sued for assault by bodyguards who worked for them after the singer’s concert in Germany in 2019, per Explosion.
The incident happened after a fan overtook a female security guard who was covering the stairs and onto the stage, where Nicki was performing.
The fan reportedly went on stage but made no attempt to touch the singer and simply danced to the music.
“The concertgoer did not cause harm to any other person, nor did he damage property during or after his limited time on stage,” the court document reads. “He was just dancing on stage to the music. He did not attempt, and in fact did not, make any physical contact with Minaj while on stage.”

After the performance, the “Bang, Bang” singer later confronted the female bodyguard for exposing her and endangering her.
Although the female bodyguard apologized, Nicki was allegedly displeased and insisted on apologizing again while taking out her phone to record it. He pushed security guards to “tell Minaj’s fans, through the footage, that he failed to do his job and put Minaj in danger.”
Court documents claim that Nicki was “furious” and called the female bodyguard a “f—— b—-” and allegedly threw her shoe at the female bodyguard but “missed” her target.
Apparently not satisfied, Nicki and Petty called Weidenmuller, the head of her security detail for the show. Weidenmuller claimed that they insulted him and accused him of being romantically involved with the female guard.

He denied the accusation and stated that Petty suddenly punched him.
“Without warning, Petty KICKED Weidenmuller from the side and made contact with the right side of his face,” the document read, per Explosion. The bodyguard also claimed he was hospitalized for ten days due to a broken jaw he suffered as a result of the collision.

The rapper was seen completely upset with the woman before his boss pulled him aside to defuse the situation and help the rapper back on stage.
