Queen Olivia Culpo was there to support her younger sister Sophia Culpo in the midst of her difficult breakup with Braxton Berrios earlier this year.
The two had a rather nasty breakup that led to leaked text messages and allegations that the NFL star had cheated on him with TikTok star Alix Earle. While the timeline of the split is still up for debate, it’s clear that Sophia has her sister to help her through it!

It seems the former pageant queen has some good advice for her sister following her very public breakup with Braxton Berrios. “I just told her that this will all pass and one day you’ll look back on this and be so proud of the strength you had to get through the hardest moments,” Olivia, 31, told E! News on Tuesday.
“And it’s funny because now he’s in that place and we can look back and think, ‘Thank God that happened,'” he continued. “Especially in the public eye and with so many opinions and social media is so toxic.”
Sophia first discussed the split on social media when a fan asked about it during an “Ask Me Anything” session on her Instagram Stories. “I couldn’t talk about this when it first happened,” Sophia said at the time. “I still have no words. I’m not really one to post a lot of dirty details.”

She said that their relationship “didn’t end well,” and admitted that “a lot of trust was broken,” which forced her to rely on her “support system” to get her through the breakup.
“I did not deal with this matter because it was very difficult to accept and process. I will say that it didn’t end well or honestly,” he continued. “A lot of trust has been broken. But I have an amazing support system and I really appreciate everyone’s love & support. This community never fails to amaze me.”
“But I know that I share my relationship with you all so it makes sense that there are questions about why this person is no longer in my life,” she continued. “I know that I’ve lost a lot of weight. It wasn’t intentional. The betrayal in my last relationship really took a toll on me, but I have the most amazing support system.”

Sophia credits her family and friends for helping her through the breakup. “I have the most amazing family and friends and I’m so grateful that I was able to pick myself up and move to a new place on my own,” she continued. “So, there are many things I’m thankful for… I wouldn’t wish what I’m going through on anyone. I really don’t and I try my best to take the high road here.”
“I appreciate everyone’s love and support, I really appreciate it. It means a lot to me,” he added. “We girls must stick together and one day I’ll share all the lessons I’ve learned.”
Braxton Berrios Overcomes Split: ‘We Don’t Work Out’

In her own Instagram Story, Braxton insisted that the relationship ended simply because they weren’t compatible as a couple anymore. “I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to drive anything,” he said at the time. “I really want this to end and for everyone to move on and do whatever makes them happy.”
“I was in a relationship for two years,” he continued, referring to his relationship with Sophia. “It was a good relationship, it was a healthy relationship. And at the end of it, we talked along the lines of we didn’t work out. So when we broke up in January, that’s why.”
Berrios claimed that, when they called it quits, it “had nothing to do with anyone else.” He went on to say that their relationship “didn’t work out and that’s okay.” He continued, “It’s very strange and sad to see what kind of things have happened since then. I kept quiet because it’s not appropriate for me to talk about my personal life publicly. But I think it needs to be touched on now.”

Although she claimed that their relationship ended in January, Sophia has published alleged text messages between the two that make it look like they were really together until February.
At the end of the text message, Sophia wrote, “Real timeline. We broke up after Drake’s concert at the Super Bowl weekend where he was seen making out with another girl. Not bitter, actually, I know this situation is one of my biggest blessings. I pray what’s best for everyone in this situation, including myself, that’s why I’m here to share the truth so I can officially get this all over with. Love everyone.”
