In her latest Instagram post on Wednesday, October 12, the 57-year-old Central European model shared some more candid reflections on aging with her millions of Instagram followers.

“To me, it sometimes feels real that we have a ‘choice’ in how we look as we age,” she said. “You can, like @lisarinna, unapologetically embrace the full spectrum of professional help – or you can, like @_justinebateman_, unapologetically embrace the change.”

“What I love about both of them is the ‘no regrets’ part,” he continued, seemingly ignoring the recent controversy surrounding Lisa Rinna, with Kathy Hilton calling her a “bully.” Paulina went on to say that both women “refused to be ashamed and lived their lives the way they wanted to. With honesty.”

“I, I’m in the middle of a weird seesaw,” he continued. “One day I want to accept me as I am, the next day I’ll be standing up pulling my skin back to see what I look like with a face lift.”

“@carmen_dellorefice talking about maintenance,” she wrote. “So, if you own a house and the ceiling is cracked, why not fix it? Even though I don’t believe we are a house, and I always prefer an old, impractical house to a new one, this haunts me more and more. To fix or not to fix.

“If you have the means – and are in the public eye – are you somehow wrong NOT to correct?” he asked. “After all, I’m not a natural beauty if the definition is zero maintenance. My hair is dyed, I have bonds on my teeth, I exercise, I fast, I use a lot of beauty products, always SPF, and the occasional laser.

“Can you believe in aging as a privilege and the change of beautiful new seasons at the same time want to stop time visually? I don’t know the answer to this,” he admitted. “But what I do know, is that the women I admire and are inspired by, make their own choices based on their priorities, unapologetically.”

“This is where I hope to finally land. To have no regrets about who I am. So I can stay honest,” she ended the post with #betweenjloandbettywhite, #aging, #nofilter and #noaapologies. He also added, “NO SHAME WILL BE TOLERATED ON THIS POST- so if you have something mean to say, know it will be deleted.”

French hairstylist Didier Malige commented, “No fixing is Brigitte Bardot’s choice ..Some of her closest friends are her animals .. Animals don’t comment on your looks .. yes, she doesn’t advertise watches and perfumes ..and has never acted in a movie for several times ….. He is he ..”

Danish author Annika von Holdt added, “You know I think you are a masterpiece as you are now … and always have been. Adults can do whatever they want with their appearance. I will not judge. But it saddens me to see young girls using filters or manipulating their image/appearance to fit the mold of beauty standards – whatever that is.♥️.” Paulina replied, “as you know- I am NOT a fan of filters. Because that’s actually a little lie.”

One fan wrote, “This is a really good post. There’s a lot to think about here. And it’s so important to be able to talk about all this without shame, guilt and apologies. Bravo!” Paulina replied, “🙏.”

Another follower commented, “I believe we can do both. Whatever makes us happy. For me, maybe a little maintenance, a little touch up here and there. Somewhere in the middle. But again, it’s what we want to do and what makes us happy, not what other people say we should or shouldn’t do. There is power in that, power in feeling the best, power in controlling our own bodies.”
