Kylie Jenner might not be a bad person! As the recent controversy surrounding the young billionaire has been dealt with and buried.
Jenner drew criticism on Monday, January 24, for wearing a lifelike lion head as part of her outfit at the Schiaparelli Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show in Paris.
Her unusual outfit which sparked public outrage, especially from animal rights activists, has now been praised by the American non-profit animal rights organisation, PETA.
PETA Comes To Kylie Jenner’s Rescue
It looks like the socialite may not have to offer any sort of public apology or defend herself for rocking a lion head at the Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show in Paris.

Per TMZ, one of the world’s most famous animal rights groups, “PETA “— which stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals — shocked the angry crowd after praising Jenner for her unconventional outfit.
The makeup mogul looked wild for the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show as she wore a black velvet gown adorned with a lifelike giant lion head. He further clarified in an Instagram post that the animal’s head was not a real lion, writing, “a fake art creation constructed by hand using man-made materials.”
Fascinated by Jenner’s outfit, PETA president Ingrid Newkirk expressed her thoughts on the bold look during an interview, saying, “Kylie’s look celebrates the beauty of lions and may be a statement against trophy hunting, where lion families are torn apart to satisfy human egos. .”
Crediting the businessman for pulling off the trick, he concluded by saying, “This highly innovative three-dimensional animal head shows that where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Jenner Was Slammed By Fans For Her Shocking Outfit

While her lion head look was praised by PETA president Newkirk, not everyone understood the message the makeup mogul was trying to convey.
Per The Blast, the mother of two, who looked happy with her overall look for the fashion show, shared multiple photos of the eye-catching outfit on her Instagram page.
Although she assured fans that no animals were harmed during the creation of her clothes, her post still didn’t go down well with many of her supporters, who blasted her in the comments section for trying to model such a look.
While voicing their grievances rather than rants, one fan went ballistic and asked many rhetorical questions, writing, “Wtf? Do we support the killing of endangered species anymore? Can’t they use their platform for something good other than showing off?”
Continuing their rant, they wrote, “How much money they have and how they look… sad (I know the lion isn’t real, but the message is so clear.”
One shocked individual commented, “I really hope that’s not true. It is disgusting to promote such animal abuse and cruelty.” A third person who seemed shocked by Jenner’s outfit wrote, “This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen her do. And probably the first worst thing I’m at a loss for words.”
A rather disappointed fan dropped in their two cents, writing, “This is really disturbing.. Fake or fashion whatever… It’s like you are promoting poaching… We should protect our wildlife and endangered species in every way .”
“Even if it’s not real, it’s very unpleasant, especially when you know that lions are victims of poaching all over the world,” said one angry fan.
An unbiased individual called out not only Jenner, but everyone else who praised the businessman, writing, “I know every normal person who sees this knows it’s wrong, sadistic and disturbing. You celebrities just lost it, no respect our fauna, no respect for life.”
Zac Efron Unfortunately Got A Bad Book MAP
It seems that not every celebrity gets praise from animal rights organizations for exploiting wildlife animals.
As previously reported by The Blast, actor Zac Efron got heat from PETA for appearing in several Kodiak Cakes commercials with a captive bear on his back. Kodiak Cakes, whose signature features a bear on the front of their wares, recently signed the “High School Musical” star as their Chief Brand Officer for the company.
The actor in the performance of his duties, appeared in a promotional clip with a real bear to shoot an advertisement for the Cake company.
Not satisfied with the promotional video, PETA spoke up and informed Efron that animals belong in their families and not in front of the cameras for entertainment.
Director of the Captive Animal Welfare Foundation, Debbie Metzler, asked the cast of “The Greatest Showman” to “come down to Earth.”
