He stated, “Everyone at the London Clinic is acutely aware of our individual, professional, ethical, and legal obligations regarding patient confidentiality. We take great pride in the excellent care and discretion we aim to deliver to all our patients who place their trust in to us every day.”
He continued: “We have a system in place to monitor the management of patient information and, in the event of any breach, all appropriate investigative, regulatory and disciplinary measures will be taken. There is no place in our hospital for those who willfully breach the trust of any of our patients or colleagues .”
In addition, the spokeswoman of the clinic spoke to him ITV News reiterated the importance of patient privacy, stating, “All our patients, regardless of their status, deserve complete privacy and confidentiality regarding their personal medical information.”

In an interview with Sun, Ingrid Seward, royal editor Greatness Magazine, ex offered sympathy to the princess, noting that she was already facing challenges as she recovered from her recent surgery.
Seward emphasized the implications of having to deal with such a breach in addition to undergoing serious surgery, suggesting that “Kate probably feels very sensitive about this sort of thing and I should think she’s very, very full and upset about it. She’s obviously someone who’s been in the public eye, but she had undergone a very serious operation.”
