Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reached out to Prince William and Kate Middleton after he revealed that he had been treated for cancer.
Kate made a video announcement in which she revealed that doctors had discovered a cancerous growth in her body after undergoing planned stomach surgery in January.
According to reports, Harry and Meghan apparently had no idea about Kate’s health condition and only found out when the news became public.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have apparently put aside their strained relationship with Wales as they both reached out following Kate’s recent announcement that she has been treated for cancer.
According to Daily MailHarry and Meghan “personally” contacted the Prince and Princess of Wales last night, although it is not clear whether this was done via video call, phone or message of support.
They appear to have been kept in the dark about Kate’s cancer diagnosis, as sources say they “didn’t know” the future queen would go through this phase and only got information about her health status when the world learned about it.
News that the warring brothers have spoken was revealed by ITV Royal Editor Chris Ship.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle previously said in a statement that they “wish health and recovery for Kate and the family, and hope they can do so privately and peacefully.”

It comes after the mother-of-three revealed in a video announcement yesterday that she has been privately treating cancer and is undergoing a “course of preventive chemotherapy” following “planned abdominal surgery” in January.
Kate said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the lovely messages of support and for your understanding while I’ve been recovering from surgery.”
“It’s been a very difficult few months for our whole family, but I have a great medical team who have taken such good care of me, for which I am very grateful,” he continued.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at that time, it was considered that my condition was not cancerous,” he said, adding that “the surgery was successful. However, tests after the surgery revealed that cancer was present.”
He continued, “My medical team, therefore, advised me to undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”
She also mentioned that the news “came as a huge surprise” and that she and her husband have “done everything we can to process and manage this personally for the sake of our young family.”

The exact nature of Kate’s cancer diagnosis and the extent to which it has escaped remains unknown as she continues to recover.
A Kensington Palace source told Daily Mail that the monarchy “will not share any further personal medical information,” adding that “The Princess has a right to medical privacy, as we all do.”
This follows the same pattern that Buckingham Palace took with King Charles when they announced that he too had been diagnosed with cancer but refused to reveal the type the monarch was dealing with.
Charles has since spoken out about Kate’s announcement, saying how “proud” he was of his daughter-in-law’s bravery.
