First Time Parents

Chopra and Jonas welcomed their first child together via surrogate on January 15, 2022. The new addition arrived late at night, shortly after 8pm at a hospital in San Diego.
On May 8, 2022, Jonas took to Instagram to pay heartfelt tribute to his wife on her first Mother’s Day, sharing the news that their daughter had returned home after a long stay in the NICU.
“On this Mother’s Day, we can’t help but reflect on the last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been through, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” the singer began. “After 100 plus days in the NICU, our daughter is finally home. Every family journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and even though our journey was a challenging few months, what became abundantly clear, in retrospect, was how precious and perfect every moment was.”
Jonas also expressed his gratitude to the hospital staff and celebrated the joy of their baby girl finally coming home after a long stay in the NICU.
“We are so happy that our daughter is finally home,” Jonas continued. “Our next chapter starts now, and our baby is really badass. Let’s get M! Mom and Dad love you.”
