The “Bachelorette: After the Finale Rose” episode was one for the books. Viewers saw Rachel Recchia and Tino Franco get engaged, but things seemed to go downhill quickly.
Around the time “The Bachelor” season premiered, the two were going through rocky terrain. Finally, we find out that Tino cheated on Rachel because he claimed he was under the impression they were on a break, leaving Rachel confused and heartbroken.
During the live finale of “The Bachelor”, Tino came out on stage to talk to Rachel, but things didn’t go well. After the nation watched an awkward conversation between Rachel and Tino, host Jesse Palmer shocked Rachel, and the audience, when he said someone was there who “demanded” to talk to Rachel.
Aven, Rachel’s runner-up, walks out onto the stage as everyone cheers. He asked, “I was just wondering if you wanted to get out of here and catch up?” Rachel responded with, “I wouldn’t like anything else.”

Rachel Recchia sat down with Kaitlyn Bristowe to talk all things “The Bachelor” during the latest episode of the “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast. One of those topics included Aven Jones.
“I do not know [what’s going on]. I think that’s a big question,” Rachel said. “With Aven, I just care about her so much that I really want her to be happy in any capacity with me or, like, whatever it is. I really want to see him thrive.
He continued, “So what’s next? I don’t know. I mean, I’m definitely, definitely open to seeing what happens, but it’s two people [and] we have been through a lot.”
Unfortunately, the two seem to be on their own tracks, but that doesn’t mean things won’t develop down the road. “I wish I had something to tell you [about us]… We can do whatever we want now. We’re kind of out of the show,” continued Rachel. “But I just got back to LA from everything that happened [on the] show — New York, I’m in Vegas. So I think we’ll both just see where it goes — if it goes anywhere. I will keep you updated.”

After the “Bachelorette: After the Finale Rose” episode aired, Rachel Recchia went on “Live With Kelly and Ryan” to talk about the drama — including what Aven said to her backstage.
“We went outside to talk without a microphone,” Rachel told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. “He wants to support me through this difficult time. He’s just amazing.”
Rachel admits during a date in her hometown that Aven has become her “go to” guy whenever she needs support. When speaking with E! News of Aven emerged in the final, the 26-year-old said, “I’m really curious. He ended up just telling me he wanted to be there as a support system because he knew it was really going to be a very difficult conversation. He has always been my safe place.”
