Mia Thornton has opened up about the dissolution of her relationship with her estranged husband, Gordon Thornton.
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star and her ex split in June 2023 but didn’t publicly announce their split until September.
Their split became permanent when the TV personality called it quits on their 11-year union last fall for heartbreaking reasons.

During an emotional interview about her ongoing divorce, Mia was asked about what led to the end of what many considered a happy marriage. Although the two initially broke up, she blamed the conclusion of their romance on Gordon.
“I’d say my breaking point was when he publicly decided to shame me,” the Bravo star revealed, noting that her ex’s scathing remarks last October prompted her to file for divorce. In his words:
“And I said, ‘OK, this is not what we do.’ And I filed. Yeah, I did because I was like, ‘Let’s go ahead and get this watch.’ I just don’t want to be a part of it.”

According to Mia, her former lover quickly “got on the program” and now joins her for a date with radio DJ Incognito and their children. He also raved about his new blossoming relationship, stating that he expects them to have more success, but there is no marriage yet.

In her interview, Mia cleared up rumors that claimed she would be tying the knot with Incognito next month.
Speculations about her marriage to the radio DJ started after she shared the caption “4.4.4 [white heart emoji] Let’s go!” in December 2023 along with a PDA image.
An Instagram post has fans thinking he will say his vows on April 4, 2024. However, the Bravolebrity clarified that there is no wedding in the couple’s near future, saying:
“So no wedding in April, OK? 444 is the angel number he and I share. That’s what we feel represents our relationship.”
Although the couple may not be getting married now, Mia hinted they will later, adding: “We have marriage on the brain, but I have to get a divorce first!”
