The reality star bragged about becoming a millionaire in the first season The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City only to be accused of fraud and money laundering and have his house raided on reality TV.
The raids drew shocking information that Shah had just bought a lot of fake “designer” handbags and jewellery. Why she has this and more may be a mystery to most, but the number of bags and jewelry found could indicate that she gambled her life away for housewife status.
In a document obtained by Page SixLuxury designers whose bags have counterfeit versions include, “Louis Vuitton,” “Chanel,” “Fendi” and “Jimmy Choo,” according to legal documents.

The document also claims Jen religiously bought fake accessories from “Cartier,” “Tiffany & Co.,” “Louis Vuitton,” “Chanel,” “Dior,” “Hermés” and “Bulgari.” Jen seems to be doing her best or at least.
The 49-year-old now has a long fight ahead of him since his arrest in 2021 on charges of wire fraud and money laundering. He is accused of robbing victims in a telemarketing scheme. During the raid for this scheme is when the wallet is taken.
In the beginning, the local police and the feds come looking for Jen during the filming of the real housewives. In the now-unforgettable scene, fans can see authorities show up at his Salt Lake home and go in looking for him.
Apparently it wasn’t long after this when the authorities returned and officially raided the house. They had to track down Jen first who was meant to go on a girl’s trip and avoid the trip claiming her husband was in the hospital. Now, it seems he is on the run.

The raid on Shah’s house also produced some real goodies as well. Don’t forget he had to find the lawyer’s fees and bail money somewhere. There’s also an emotional scene where Jen talks to her mother about cashing in her retirement to help her daughter.
Jen is still willing to pay $6.5 million of the $9.5 million in restitution. Many of Jen’s co-stars were shocked to find out what she was up to because in the first season she made it seem like she was a legitimate businessman. “What I’ve been doing for the past 20 years is direct response marketing. I made millions,” he said in a confession in 2019.
He continued to brag, “Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do for money. I’m like the Wizard of Oz.”
Jen’s followers watched her walk to her court hearing wearing designer everything including a Gucci purse with a matching belt and a designer suit. However, as we learn more about Jen it looks like she intentionally put on a cover possibly to get on TV and now has to keep it up…

Besides fake bags and accessories, Shah’s gorgeous $3.9 million home in Salt Lake City isn’t actually hers. He allegedly rented a place he dubbed the “Chalet Ski Shah”. It’s actually owned by a Texas real estate company who did her a favor and shut their mouths for two whole seasons while Jen passed off their beautiful property as her own.
We’re sure it has its own benefits for them if he doesn’t get caught up in all this mess.
