During a recent chat with Billboard News, the multi-hyphenate entertainer reflected on her journey to fame and how her husband was instrumental in helping her overcome the dark side of the music industry.

According to the “How We Do” artist, he went through a painful period in his career. The songwriter explained that she felt discouraged and lost confidence as she struggled to make a difference in the industry.

“I spent so much time fighting to be heard throughout my experience in the industry that I felt like I lost a lot of confidence and hope, fell low,” the Oscar nominee admitted.

“And I think when you’re at your lowest point, you can make a choice. You either get up and move on or let it consume you. And I did that,” continued Ora. The Kosovo beauty noted that perseverance in the face of adversity yields the sweetest reward.

“I woke up. I flew to Australia to do The Voice there, and I met someone who changed me forever,” said the Bambi Award winner, referring to her talented husband whom she married in 2022.

Speaking about the “Thor: Ragnarok” director, the overwhelmed wife revealed that meeting the New Zealander was the wave of inspiration she needed to overcome her slump and create new music.

“Meeting Taika, who is my husband, I had never felt that before,” the 32-year-old admits, “and so I just wrote everything, and I thought, ‘Okay, I think it’s time to make music again.’ And here we are.”

Ora’s latest single, “Praising You,” is a collaborative project with iconic producer Fatboy Slim. The song is a rendition of his 1998 classic of the same name and serves as the second single from the singer’s latest album “You & I.”

Opening up about “Praising You” on his latest appearance on Heart FM, the “Fifty Shades of Grey” actor shared how creating the song’s music video caused a spat between himself and Waititi.

The clip, directed by the Academy Award winner, features the Kosovo native showing off her dance moves with a group of dancers. The performance was performed in front of Fatboy Slim.

When asked how it felt for her husband to direct the music video, the Glamor Award winner admitted she has bittersweet memories. Recalling the experience, the multi-hyphenate noted that people warned him not to do it.

Although the couple managed to avoid serious issues while filming the video, the “Grateful” singer stated that the two did not agree on the timing. Recalling the ordeal, Ora said:
