YouTuber Melanie Ham has died on January 12, 2022 at the age of 36 as confirmed by her husband, Robert Ham.
Robert took to his Instagram and wrote a long post addressed to their followers. He wrote, “If you’ve been following our journey, I’m sure you, like us, hope that he can beat this dangerous disease. Over the last few months, things have gotten worse and we’re thankful that we made it this far through the holidays and try to make every moment important.”
Robert and Melanie are 9 days away from celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary.
He added, “My family, our doctors, our nurses, and especially Melanie fought until the end and did everything we could to avoid today, but that was not our way.”
Robert urged everyone to share Melanie’s photos, memories and projects that inspired them. He added that he will be able to walk, sing, and dance in a way that his body has not allowed for the past few months. He thanked everyone for the gifts, messages, and prayers.
On their 15th wedding anniversary, Robert updated, “Celebrating 15 years today. We feasted on the treatments that flowed with dinner that we would eat in the car… lol. We got another good scan result (more shrinkage, no new tumors) so it was a great day! Love you more than the day we got married, @hammrproductions.”
Melanie began sharing her health issues in January 2019. In December 2018, she revealed that her doctor had found a mass in her kidney. Later in 2020, she was diagnosed with a rare type of sarcoma called epithelioid angiomyolipoma.
