Todd and Julie’s daughter Chrisley opened up about how much of their relationship played out in the public eye, calling it “one of the hardest parts of growing up in the public eye.”
She added, “We’ve had some really great, bright moments, and we’ve had some really hard ones, but the part of our relationship that I’ll hold on to will always be the moments in the middle. It’s going to be the everyday life that we get to share for 5 an amazing year.”
Sharing the qualities she loves about her ex-fiancé, Chrisley writes about how Kerdiles loves Starbucks and how she loves her mother Julie’s carrot cake. “I know we’ve had some very, very difficult moments, but our everyday lives are truly beautiful. Just because some things don’t work out, or don’t last forever, doesn’t make them any less special or any less meaningful,” she wrote.
The 26-year-old woman talked about how she and Kerdiles were together as friends, lovers, and entrepreneurs. “Our time in San Diego will always be unforgettable. This is where we start…And I really wish I could get on a flight and you would be there waiting for me,” he said.
Explaining how our friendship only grew after their breakup, Chrisley revealed, “A lot of people don’t know, they don’t realize, that when it came time to take my dad to Pensacola, one of the hardest days of my life, YOU were the ones who came along for the ride , YOU were there for me and guided me through a very dark day. Thank you for that. Thank you so much.”
The podcast host later declared he would miss “Kerdiles’ sweet smile and being able to see your heart on full display”. He continued, “Some things are not supposed to last forever, some things come into our lives for a season, and our seasons are precious, they are special, and I am and will always be a better person because I know you, because I love you and loved by you.”
Ending the heart-wrenching tribute, Chrisley wrote, “Oh my gosh… what I wouldn’t do to hear, “I LOVE YOU KID” right now. Gosh! I miss you… it’s not fair”!
Details of the Tragic Death of Nic Kerdiles
Chrisley’s tribute comes a day after it was confirmed that the late Ice Hockey player was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident.
According to reports, Kerdiles was involved in the crash around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday after he ran a stop sign in a residential area north of downtown Nashville and collided with a BMW.
The late athlete crashed into the driver’s side of the vehicle with his Indian Motorcycle. The driver of the BMW immediately stopped after the accident while the former Anaheim Ducks team member was taken to the nearest local hospital. Unfortunately, Kerdiles was pronounced dead within a short time.
Authorities said there were no visible signs of impairment from either driver, thus ruling the collision an accident. Hours before his death, the 29-year-old had posted a photo of himself on his motorcycle crashing through the city, with the caption reading, “Night rider.”
