On May 30, the 25-year-old’s YouTube channel was updated with the latest episode of his “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley” podcast. However, the show took a new route, with the roles reversed for a heart-to-heart interview.

Instead of taking her usual spot as host, the former Miss Tennessee Teen USA titleholder was a guest on the series. He swapped seats with Patrick Custer, a well-known advocate for mental health and addiction awareness.
The founder of Sassy by Savannah allowed the host of “Rooted Recovery Stories” to take the helm, allowing her to share heartbreaking stories from her youth. According to the media personality, he tried to end his life during a mental health crisis.
“I didn’t have a life-or-death experience, but I tried to kill myself, so that was probably my life-or-death experience,” the model confessed. “But to me, it’s more of a cry for help.”
The real estate mogul’s daughter explained that the near-tragic incident has become a blur, noting that the attempted suicide occurred when she was around 15 or 16 years old. The entrepreneur believes it happened when his family started filming their first reality TV series.
“It’s crazy because when you go through a lot of trauma, I feel like your mind just blocks it out,” Chrisley claims. “I also felt, maybe there were some side effects to what I was doing where it affected my memory, but it was all a blur.”
Despite her poor memory of the timeline, the socialite’s memory of the impact of her actions was clear. Continuing the story, the 25-year-old said: “I remember waking up in the hospital and, you know, my parents were there and a discussion was being held.”
“Even at that time, I remember lying to the doctor because I didn’t want to be detained in the hospital,” the entertainer admitted, adding that he told the public: “There’s nothing wrong with me; it was just a bad moment.”

Although mental health is a personal battle, the podcaster doesn’t have to overcome his trials of silence. The blonde beauty credits her parents, especially the patriarch, for supporting her recovery.
The proud daughter, showering the businessman with praise, said: “My father spends hours with me every day, just trying to get me to talk. Tell me his life story, his trauma.”
“Try to tell me like, ‘Hey, I’m not the perfect person you always think I am. I’ve been through things in my life too. I was traumatized. I want you to feel comfortable.’ And talk to me about it. And I took some time,” Chrisley concluded.

Weeks before the former beauty pageant contestant opened up about her mental health issues, the 25-year-old shared her thoughts on becoming a mother amid her parents’ prison terms. The head of the Chrisley family received a combined term of 19 years in prison.

After their incarceration, the couple’s eldest daughter was responsible for her brother Grayson and nephew Chole. During an episode of the “Unlocked” podcast, the TV personality stated that being a single parent has influenced her opinion on motherhood.
“I’m in the anger part of the sadness right now. I’m just angry at everything. And also, after taking the children. I was like, ‘Okay. Do I want children? do I You know, see how much this has affected us?’” lamented the blonde entertainer.
Despite her doubts about parenthood, the “Royal Pains” alum explained that she enjoyed raising the younger Chrisley; however, it is not easy. “I try to be a good adult figure in their lives, but it’s hard being 25 and having two kids and trying to figure out what’s best for them.” the reality TV star confessed.
