The alleged lovebirds have been accused of plotting to kill Robert with an assassin. Authorities arrested the plotting trio in Abaco, Bahamas, where the estranged couple lives. The arrests were made after police found a disturbing string of WhatsApp messages depicting the group’s malicious intent.
Law enforcement uncovered an alleged plot to kill the former athlete while investigating a break-in at Grabber’s Bar and Grill in Guana on July 16. The phone containing the WhatsApp messages belonged to the suspected intruder.
The police report on the assassination attempt reads, “On July 16, 2023, in Abaco, [the defendants,] while together, did, for the same purpose, agree to commit the offence, namely, the murder of Richard Shiver.”
Following their arrest, the assassination plot team reportedly appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley. All three were not required to plead guilty and remain behind bars in a Bahamian prison. The group will return to court on October 5.
As for the “Growing Up Chrisley” star, the 26-year-old’s new romance with Robert comes months after her split from country music star Nate Smith. In May, the blonde beauty opened up about the two’s split on her “Opening up with Savannah Chrisley” podcast.

In the emotional episode, the media personality revealed she chose motherhood over her relationship with the “Whiskey on You” singer. The former beauty pageant is responsible for her younger brother and niece following her parents’ imprisonment on charges of fraud and tax evasion.
According to the entrepreneur, his romance with the artist was a classic case of “right person, bad timing.” Looking back on their brief romance, Chrisley admitted to having fond memories with the “World on Fire” hitmaker. In his words:
“It was a great experience. I mean, I have nothing to say about him other than respect for him. It’s just a difficult situation for everyone involved.”
Despite their bond, the 26-year-old noted that it’s difficult for “anyone to understand the level of trauma” that has plagued her life. Since she considers herself a mother to the children in her care, she can’t leave them to tour the world with the rising country singer.
“He needs someone who will be able to go to the thing and enjoy it with him,” admitted the blonde beauty, adding that she wasn’t the right person for the job. “There’s no way I could do that without feeling guilty about leaving the kids.”
Prior to her brief relationship with Smith, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star was engaged to Nic Kerdiles before they called off their two-year engagement in 2020.

Months before her new romance with the former athlete, Chrisley discussed her thoughts on marriage on a June episode of the podcast. While speaking to guest Lindsay Ell, the 26-year-old revealed her fears about walking down the aisle.
According to the reality TV star, societal pressure on women to marry and have children makes it challenging to live in the southern region of the United States. The blonde beauty admitted:
“It’s very difficult because in the south too, you experience things like this [perspective of], ‘You should be married. You should have children. And I’d say the thought of marriage scares me more than children.”
Elaborating on her fear of marriage, Chrisley stated she prefers children because she can be in control. “So if I have kids, it’s my responsibility to take care of them, and I make sure they get from point A to point B. All these things,” explained the entertainer.

“But with marriage, it’s like you give a part of yourself to someone, so they have the ability to hurt you. Weird things I’m still trying to figure out in my mind,” lamented the TV personality.
