The wedding of Poosh’s founder and the band’s drummer in Vegas was perhaps the wildest marriage of any couple. The informal ceremony was held at One Love Chapel, where the couple snuck in right after the 2022 Grammys.
Although the wedding was wild, impromptu, and fun, no one imagined there would be a case of mistaken identity! The Elvis impersonator mistook Kourtney for his sister Khloe Kardashian. The footage of the hilarious moment has gone viral.
In the clip, the pair wore matching black outfits and sunglasses for the occasion, with Kourtney carrying a bouquet. The lovers were in each other’s arms as they stood in front of the wedding officiant.
The Elvis impersonator asked for their first names, so he could lead them to take their vows. The Poosh founder replied, “Travis,” before he could continue, the impersonator added, “Khloe.”
This mix prompted Lemme’s founder, who had already had too much tequila, to laugh hysterically. “You guys, I’m going to cry,” Kourtney said between laughs. Not realizing his mistake, the impersonator asks Travis to say, “I, Travis, take you, Khloé, to be my wife.”
The bride could not hide her laughter; he fell uncontrollably to the floor. The Blink-182 drummer corrected his wife’s name to the officiant, saying, “This is Kourtney.” Soon, the wedding officiant apologized and said the right words. “I, Travis, take Kourtney to be my wife.”
Meanwhile, the drummer of the band was helping his bride who was still laughing to get up from the floor. As the 43-year-old struggled to his feet, he insisted that his younger sister would have found the moment funny too. He said, “I’m going to cry. Wait, we have to FaceTime Khloé; we need to FaceTime him. He will die.”
The Elvis impersonator apologized again, saying, “I won’t make that mistake again.” Enjoying the moment with his lover, Travis commented, “This is the best.”
A few weeks before the Hulu doc premiered, the health buff celebrated her first wedding anniversary in Vegas. Reminiscing about that night, the mother of three shared images of the wild night on her Instagram. One snap shows her and her man kissing.
Another caught him squatting in his car, about to throw up. In the caption of the post, the reality star talked about how fun the night was, which led to her losing her jacket.
The caption reads, “One year ago today, an Elvis impersonator married me and @travisbarker after the Grammys and too much tequila in a chapel in Las Vegas! After having three marriages, the socialite seems to love being a bride. Last month, she celebrated her wedding dress anniversary in Italy, teasing another wedding. The Blast reports that the TV personality marked the milestone by detailing the intricate process of designing the dress.
The pictures include sketches of dresses designed by Dolce and Gabbana and the finished look. Alongside the photo, “The Kardashian” star shared her inspiration behind the outfit in the caption.
She said, “The first inspiration for my dress was when Travis, 47, and I watched the Guns N’ Roses November Rain video one night before we got engaged, and we said to each other, ‘this has to be our wedding.’ She was wearing a short dress, and I thought to myself, ‘I need a short dress!’”
