The legendary tennis star recently revealed that she and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, will welcome a daughter — their second child — in the coming months. On Monday, Williams took to her YouTube channel to upload a six-minute video, which opens with her searching for the right shoes to wear to what she called a “gender reveal slash baby shower.”

As the retired tennis player did just that, she told the camera that she was “Team Pink,” adding that she didn’t know how she would react to having a son. She admitted, “I was nervous because I didn’t have any contingency plans if he turned out to be a boy.”
As the party, which moved from day to night, continued outside, Alexis appeared in private footage, revealing that he gave his wife a cake to cut. In his words:
“This cake is the basis of the gender reveal idea as I can make it. Inside, it is yellow. I did this because I wanted to trick him and Olympia into thinking that this was a Jelly Bean reveal. He’ll cut this cake, probably be disappointed, and hopefully appreciate my trolling, but we’ll see.”
Once he finishes his monologue, the clip shows his wife cutting into the cake to find the plain yellow filling. His response to the trolling was to act as if he wanted to smear the cut he had cut into his face, earning a laugh from their guests.
Olympia also took the microphone from her dad to declare that she “can’t do it anymore,” as she insisted that the cake was “a bit of a joke.” The real revelation came when the internet entrepreneur orchestrated a high-tech drone show that revealed they were pregnant with a baby girl.

“Good Morning. I was thinking… I don’t know the gender; I don’t know if we’re having a girl or a boy. So, I was thinking of some names, and I was like, maybe I should do something with my favorite Disney character because I like Disney, and as you know, I’m like their biggest fan,” he began in a clip posted to TikTok.
He then states that if it’s a girl, he’s considering naming her Maleficent, Ursula, or Lady Gothel, and Scar or Gaston if it’s a boy. As he wrapped up his speech, the “My Wife and Kids” guest star enthusiastically said, “So, just going through these names. Told you I had something.”
Now that she has opened up about her thoughts on baby names, her fans took it as a sign to drop their own suggestions, with one typing in the comments section, “Olympia is Alexis Olympia = AO, Australian Open. Hear me, Roland Garros, or Ashe for Arthur Ashe. Hercules, if you want Disney. Aurora, if a girl!”
