Green and his wife of 13 years have been listed as defendants in a civil lawsuit over an April 2023 car accident that allegedly resulted in personal injury and property damage to the plaintiff.
According to documents, the car accident happened on April 7, 2023, in Southbound Laurel Canyon, before the intersection of Dona Dorotea Drive in Los Angeles, California. Although the details of the crash have not been fully disclosed, the female plaintiff, whose name has been withheld, alleges:
“At the said time and place, the Defendant and each of them, so negligently owned, maintained, operated, entrusted, and/or drove a motor vehicle as to cause injury and Damage to the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff was injured and suffered damages as a direct legal cause of the Defendant’s negligence and but for the Defendant’s negligence, and each of them, the Plaintiff would not have been injured and suffered Damages.”
The lawsuit further states, “Defendants negligently hired, trained, managed, instructed, directed, and/or supervised their agents and/or employees, which as a result legally and directly caused Plaintiff’s accident and injury and damage.”
This basically means that it is not certain who was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred. Their cars are likely to be driven by staff, agents or employees. Nevertheless, the female plaintiff claimed that the accident was the fault of the couple.
The plaintiff claimed that, as a result of the incident, he had to pay hospital and medical costs. He also claimed that he also suffered other damages. He is seeking damages in an unspecified amount to be determined based on the evidence of the wreck.
Seth Green Previously Claimed Bill Murray Bullied Him On Set

In 2022, the “Austin Powers” actor made headlines after he revealed his harrowing experience at the hands of veteran actor Bill Murray.
During an episode of “Good Mythical Morning,” the actress claimed that Murray bullied her on the set of “Saturday Night Live” when she was just nine years old. Green recalled the incident when he was asked who was “the rudest celebrity” he had ever met.
“When I was nine years old, I got a spot on ‘Saturday Night Live,'” Green recalled. “Bill Murray was hosting the show and Bill Murray as everybody knows is great with kids,” he joked.
Green continued, “He saw me sitting on the arm of this chair and made a big fuss about me being in his seat. And I was like, ‘That’s ridiculous. I sat on the arm of this sofa. There are several lengths of this sofa. Please, eff off.”
The Pennsylvania native explained that Murray didn’t move and insisted it was his chair, prompting Green’s mother to intervene. “And then my mom said, ‘You know, because he’s THE Bill Murray, you should probably give him a seat,'” Green recalled. “And I went, ‘Are you that stupid? You’re too brazen to tell a nine-year-old to get out of … what is this power play?'”
Things, however, became more intense following his statement, with Green claiming Murray got a little physical with him. “He picked me up by my ankles … he dangled me over the trash can and he was like, ‘Garbage goes in the trash can!’”

The “Family Guy” voice actor added, “And I screamed, screamed! And I swung my arms wildly, full contact with his balls, full contact. He dropped me into the trash can, the trash can fell. I was horrified. I ran away myself, hiding under the table in my dressing room, and just crying, crying.”
Green admitted he was traumatized by the incident, saying “[I] was like ‘Oh my god. I don’t want to perform. I can’t believe this is happening! I have never been so embarrassed in my life.”
Fortunately, his embarrassment was alleviated by his co-stars Eddie Murphy and Tim Kazurinsky, who cheered him on backstage. “They came back and entered my room. They were like, ‘Hey, everybody knows the Bill— commercial, you know? He hosted the show. He was probably really nervous about it. You’re going to be a pro, right? The show must go on. You go to be a professional. You’re a pro, right?’ I was like, ‘I’m a professional. I’m a professional.’”
