In an Instagram carousel full of photos from the night, the star athlete shared a photo of herself posing with her Golden Goat Award.

“What an honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Gold Medal gala!!!” he wrote. “I have to say I was surprised. Snowboarding has changed a lot since I first started, and I’m very proud to have been a part of that development. The talent of the next generation is incredible and I am very excited to see where they take this sport that I love so much.”

“If I could give them advice, it would be this… don’t look at what people around you are doing, think to yourself ‘what are they NOT doing…and how can I find my own way?’ Find that gap, that white space in your sport, and create your own unique trail,” he continued.
