During a recent episode of “Sister Wives,” Christine Brown was seen preparing to move from Arizona to Utah with her daughter Truely. Her estranged husband, Kody Brown, shared on the show that he hoped Christine wouldn’t leave even though it seemed clear that her mind was made up.
Kody also revealed that he was unhappy with Christine moving with Truely to Utah, apparently due to the distance from her own home. Instead, Christine shared that she stayed with her daughter to protect her from the controversy in her marriage at the time.
The reality star recently revealed that she is happy with her new single life and has no regrets about her decision to leave her marriage of more than two decades.

On Sunday’s episode of the TLC reality series “Sister Wives,” Christine’s impending move from Arizona was seen to be getting closer. However, Kody Brown and several other family members find it difficult to accept that Christine is leaving the family after decades.
“I live in a fantasy world where I hope Christine never leaves,” Kody shared in the confessional, which was apparently filmed in 2021. In the scene, the polygamous father is also seen reminiscing about his daughter Ysabel’s birthday and graduation party.
Kody revealed in the episode his deep desire to have Ysabel attend a college near their home in Arizona in hopes that she could “maintain a family-like relationship” with her mother.
“Kody is not one to hide his emotions. He will show you more how he feels, and I think he is very sad,” shared Christine in her own confessional interview, per Insider. “And it’s bittersweet. He loves Ysabel, and he doesn’t spend enough time with her, and I think he probably realizes that.”

Christine plans to move to Utah with their 12-year-old daughter Truely, whom she gave birth to Kody. In a previous episode of the show, Kody aired his displeasure with the fact that Truely would go so far away from him.
“I’m disgusted by this idea that he’s going to move and he’s going to take Truely and move to Utah,” she said. Insider. “Truly my son.”
Although Kody is strongly against the idea of Christine leaving with Truely, the female reality star believes that leaving has more pros than cons.
“What I’m looking for is a place to wrap Truely in a family,” Christine told the camera in a solo interview. “I can get him to a better support system where he’s surrounded by love.”
The mother of six later shared that Truely was still untouched by the controversy in her marriage at the time, unlike her older children. “I’d rather get him out of this situation before he gives a clue,” added Christine.

Elsewhere in a recent episode of “Sister Wives,” Robyn, Kody’s fourth wife, opened up about Christine’s decision to leave the family. He seemed to think that the couple should have worked harder to maintain their relationship.
“Why is this not worth fighting for? Why isn’t this worth keeping?” he said in a solo interview, per Insider.
“I don’t know, I’m just one of those people who’s always hoping that maybe something will trigger for somebody, and they’ll just say, ‘Oh, it’s worth thinking about and sticking with,'” he added.
Christine and Kody publicly revealed that they separated in November 2021. Unlike Kody’s legal marriage to Robyn, the polygamous father and Christine were never legally married. The couple had six children during their marriage, Truely, 12; Ysabel, 19; Gwendlyn, 20; Paedon, 23; Mykelti, 25, and Aspyn, 26.
Christine Brown Stopped Believing in Polygamy

Away from the reality series, Christine shared in an interview with Many people a few months ago how his mentality about living in a polygamous marriage began to change in 2018.
“I’m starting to think maybe this isn’t going to work for me,” she told the publication. And then I stopped believing in polygamy. I realized I didn’t want to live anymore. I don’t like sharing a husband or feeling like I don’t matter.”
Regarding her new life after leaving her 26-year marriage to Kody, as well as her fundamentalist Mormon faith, the mother of six shared that she has no regrets and is enjoying her new life.
“I was able to live life for me,” said the 50-year-old. “My whole world has changed, and every cell in my body is happier.”
