Reality tv stars Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke recently announced their engagement to each other. According to both of them, the proposal was a personal proposal planned at Southhampton’s Dune Beach. The intimate moment was filmed for the seventh season of the hit reality show “Summer House.”
The duo started on “Summer House” in 2017 during the show’s premiere; however, their friendship went back a few years. They grew closer on the show over the years until revealing a new romantic turn to their relationship in January.

Hubbard and Radke previously tried dating a few years ago, but it didn’t last. According to the 36-year-old, it’s a bad time for them, and they’re just focused on building their friendship. They grew closer until they were practically good friends and finally tried dating again.

follow People’s Magazine, Hubbard and Radke continue their relationship and plan to walk down the aisle. In an interview with the news outlet, the reality star revealed that the proposal surprised her, and she’s “still in shock.”
The two prepared to attend the group bonfire together and headed to the location ahead of schedule to arrange firewood for the event. Instead of a campfire, Hubbard reportedly met a picnic set up for the couple. Radke began his walk down the beach platform amid several messages he delivered that the couple loved.

Radke revealed that she wanted to do something special for the two of them because they hardly had time to themselves during the summer. She popped the question by telling Hubbard she “wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, how happy I was, and our love story was just beginning.”
Hubbard replied “Will you marry me?” with an enthusiastic “A thousand times yes!” and Radke reached into a beach bag for the ring while the 36-year-old declared that he was ready to get married on the spot.

According to Hubbard, the ring Radke produced was “the most extraordinary thing I’ve ever laid eyes on,” not including, of course, the person who gifted the jewelry. The jewelry is a 4.02 carat overall ring with a 3.5 carat square cut cushion that has two half moon diamonds on either side.
Radke revealed that she got help choosing the ring from Hubbard’s friend and jeweler, Nicole Rose. She says, “I took a few things that Lindsay liked, and Nicole helped me narrow it down to a few stones, sent me design ideas and created this beautiful ring.”

The 37-year-old went on to reveal that he’s glad Hubbard likes the ring so much, and that the piece symbolizes his love and excitement for starting a new path with his newly minted fiancé. Hubbard seems to agree, saying that the ring makes it clear that he loves her very much.
They Celebrated Their Engagement With Friends

After the couple got engaged, they reportedly moved to one of their favorite restaurants, Dockers Waterside Marina & Restaurant, where Hubbard was given another surprise. The two celebrated the engagement with their respective families and friends, some of whom were in the state at the time.
The 36-year-old recalled, “That’s when it all became real to me. Up until then, I was like, ‘Is this happening now?’ But when I saw my parents and some of my best friends who didn’t live in New York who had flown, I knew it wasn’t just a dream. And I lost it. I lost it. I started crying hysterically.”

Radke also invited the two “Summer House” stars to participate in the celebration. Danielle Olivera, Kyle Cooke, Mya Allen, and Paige DeSorbo reportedly attended; however, they initially thought they were attending a bonfire scheduled for that day and were surprised by the turn of events.
He also revealed that the couple intends to host a second engagement celebration in a few weeks in New York. This will help the reality star’s mother and others who were unable to attend the previous one have a chance to celebrate the couple.

After being friends for years and starring together on “Summer House” since its premiere, Hubbard and Radke revealed they were together in January. The revelation, according to the 36-year-old, was news to him, and they had never discussed the topic before it became public.
Inside People’s Magazine interview from May and said, “We haven’t even had that conversation together yet, but I think we both know how serious we are about each other that we both don’t need to talk about it. We’re both on the same page.”
Hubbard went on to reveal that the time was right for the two of them, and that he had never been in a healthier relationship. He described the early days as filled with butterflies at both ends and how they could rediscover each other in a different dynamic than usual.
The 36-year-old revealed that he wasn’t sure if the wedding would take place before the pregnancy announcement; however, he didn’t mind Radke. Hubbard added, “I really thought, whichever way the universe wants to go with our timeline, I’m going with it.”
