In 2005, she made her debut as a child artist with the film Parineeta, starring Vidya Balan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Sabyasachi Chakrabarty. In 2006, she appeared in the Danish-Swedish film After the Wedding where she played the role of Indisk Pige 2. In the 2007 rom-com Cheeni Kum, Swini played a 9-year-old girl named Sexy who was diagnosed with cancer. The role earned her immense popularity and a nomination for the 2008 Stardust Award for Breakthrough Performance – Female.

He interned at the Vidhi Center for Legal Policy as a research assistant from November 2020 to April 2021. In August 2021, he enhanced his career by becoming a legal associate for Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai.
