Tamra Judge Talks About Being Fired And Rehired During BravoCon 2022
Hakim said he did not expect to make a comeback to the show after being let go. “I was like, ‘Oh s—.’ Really? This is happening?” he said during the “Bravo, Bravo, F—ing Bravo” panel on Saturday. “I got to the point where, in the first year, I was in the fetal position crying. I was so sad that I wasn’t on the scene, everyone was filming and all that stuff.”

The reality star also talked about how launching her podcast, “Two T’s in a Pod” with former housewife Teddi Mellencamp helped her focus on something other than not being on the show. Then Judge was asked to be a part of “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club” and during a press tour for the show, a call came in about “RHOC.” “[They said], ‘Hey, we want to see you.’ And I was like, ‘What the f—? Really? This is happening?'” he explained. “Of course I want it! I still don’t know why I got fired!”

“RHOC” Season 17 Is Filming And A Former Housewife Will Make A Cameo
Now that filming for season 17 of “RHOC” is in full swing, Hakim says “everything is happening so fast.” “I’m here, what, three months into filming and I’m like, ‘OMG I’m being asked back.’ It hasn’t sunk in yet,” he said. “No one really gave me a hard time when I came back. I gave everyone a hard time, but everyone was so nice to me and then it made me weird because I was like, ‘Why? You’re dancing on my grave when I’m gone. And now you’re being nice to me? Why?'”
Former housewife Vicki Gunvalson shared at BravoCon that while she hasn’t returned to the show, she has been filming scenes in the new season. “I was not appointed as a full-time ‘Housewife’ or even a ‘friend of.’ I shot scenes with Tamra and Shannon [Beador] which was fun and I miss filming. But nothing more,” Gunvalson said Page Six. Although Gunvalson’s exit from the show caused some issues between him, Judge and Beador, he revealed that, “we’re good.” “We’re all good. I was in Tamra’s room this morning and then I went out with Shannon last night,” she said. “So everything has been found. Everything is fine.”

Gunvalson also explained how their friendship was. “Tamra and I have never been in a bad place. We’re fine,” he said. “Shannon and I just stopped talking for whatever reason. And there wasn’t really a fight or a specific issue. We just reached out to each other and we got back at it.”
