Meet Tania Joya, Mrs. Van Taylor
Tania first met Van Taylor while he was helping reprogram extremists, which he did after returning to the US from Syria. So, the two became “very close,” followed by sex with each other, and it was only a matter of time before the two became intimate (which lasted for about 8 months).
The alleged messages, written by Van, mentioned all the sexual acts he wanted to do with Joya.
So, things start to go south for the congressman, when Tania asks for his help paying the bills. According to Tania, Van agreed and even gave $5 thousand, but on one condition — he had to keep his mouth shut!
No wonder, Tania was on fire.
“I need help. I’m like, help me because that’s the least — the least — he can do,” she shared.
So he contacted Suzanne Harp and wanted her to persuade him to abandon his campaign and resign from Congress. “All I want is for Suzanne Harp to just say, ‘Hey, I know about your little scandal with Tania Joya. Would you like to resign before we embarrass you?’ But it didn’t happen like that,” explained Joya.
After the revelation, Van dropped his re-election bid. He was heading into the GOP runoff with Keith Self at the time.
Additionally, he publicly apologized to his then wife of 17 years, Anne Coolidge (a real estate agent), and their three daughters Lauren, Helen, and Susie.
As for Tania, she is relieved now that the cat is out of the bag. On March 4, 2022, he also took to his FB to thank everyone who showed his “compassion and support during this Van Taylor fight.” Above all, he thanked Seattle’s Christian community for showing him “empathy and non-judgmental compassion.”

Tania’s late husband was the top American ISIS member, John Georgelas. The two first met on a Muslim dating website – which he shared while attending a rally “against the war in Iraq.”
So, finding their common ground — Tania, having rocks thrown at her window just because she’s British-Bangladeshi, and the John, Texas-born soldier who converted to Islam shortly after 9/11 — the two fall in love.
Finally, Tania and John married in 2004, and by 2013, they were pregnant with their fourth child, who they initially planned to turn into jihadists.
“Our dream was to have our own land, raise a family and train them to be assassins or whatever, soldiers, and eventually go to join the jihad,” Tania recalls.
Thus, to realize their dreams, Joya and Tania headed to Syria. However, Tania fell ill shortly after their arrival and returned to the state to live with her in-laws.
Before long, the ideological grip of ISIS and her husband had slipped. She then filed for divorce, began looking for love again on a secular dating site, and it was there that she met her next lover, an IT professional named Chad Greenslade.
However, even though she has long since left Islam, and taught her children that their father was wrong, and has a new boyfriend, she still has a place for her late husband in her heart.
Reportedly, Tania’s late husband later became one of the most important Americans fighting for ISIS. John, whose name is Yahya Abu Hassan, was killed in 2017.

He has also participated in the Preventing Extremist Violence (PVE) program organized by the Clarion Program in 2019 and has appeared in the TV series Good Morning Britain and the short documentary I Was Radicalized (2020).
