After a short hiatus from the Internet, Tariq, AKA Anak Jaungung, is back at it!
She recently attended the press junket premiere for Drew Barrymore and Savannah Guthrie’s new Netflix children’s show, “Princess Power” and got the chance to interview the two about their show.

“Princess Power” recently premiered on Netflix, and Tariq has some questions for the two. “Since all the characters have food names, what food would you make?” Tariq asked. Guthrie replied that she wanted to be Savannah Strawberry.
“I was kind of disappointed because I wanted to be macaroni and cheese,” Barrymore said. Guthrie jokingly points out that macaroni and cheese is not fruit. Tariq then jumped in to answer his own question. “Well, if I had a food name, I’d start with W for watermelon.”

On to the next question!
“You get an animal sidekick. What animal will be yours?” she asked. After Barrymore said she’d love to have capuchin monkeys as sidekicks because, “they’re so cute and fun,” Guthrie jumped in to say, “They just seem too energetic for me. I think I want an old dog.”
The response made Barrymore rethink what kind of partner she really wanted and decided to be lazy instead. Tariq adds his thoughts about a good best friend saying he wishes he was a fish.

After all her questions were answered, the adorable 7-year-old got up from her official interview spot to give both Barrymore and Guthrie a big group hug. Check out Tariq’s TikTok video HERE.
This Is Not Tariq’s First Time on “The Drew Barrymore Show”

In September, Tariq made an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” and had a “corntastic” time trying new things and giving his opinion. They tried corn flavored sodas and baby corn, because Tariq loves corn.
Barrymore also had her try vegetables other than corn and shared the results in a clip on social media. Check out the video HERE. Needless to say, after trying vegetables, corn is still his top choice!

What started as a simple interview about his love of corn in a New York City park with Julian Shapiro-Barnum of Recess Therapy, turned into an exciting adventure for Tariq.
One viral interview led to Tariq being called “Corn Boy.” Then another interview and a viral song happened. He was named the “Corn Bassador” of South Dakota, met YouTube sensation MrBeast and did several collaborations with him, rode the Green Giant float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and more!
Tariq’s love of corn helped him entertain many and gave him the adventure of a lifetime that still seems to be going strong.
