Technoblade wrote a letter for his fans and handed it to his father to read aloud to the world. Marshall read the letter, “Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you’re watching this, I’m dead,” the message began. “So let’s sit down and have one last chat.” Later, after using the Technoblade for years, he went on to reveal his true name: Alex.
The letter continued, “Thank you all for supporting my content over the years. If I had a hundred more lives, I think I would choose to be a Technoblade again every time because that was the happiest year of my life”.
The letter concluded, “I hope you all enjoy my content and I make some of you laugh,” he added. “And I hope you all continue to live long, prosperous and happy lives because I love you all. Technoblade is out”.

Technoblade’s father, Marshall Spight tried to hold back tears as he shared about his son. “He’s the greatest kid anyone could ask for,” Marshall told the camera. He added that he lived for the next 8 hours after he finished writing the letter.
Marshall added, “I miss Technoblade. Thank you all, for everything. You mean a lot to him”.
Marshall J Spight was born in September 1962. In July 2022, Marshall Spight is 59 years old.
Marshall Spight began his career as a Staff Software Engineer at Google. He worked at the company from 2000 to 2006. In November 2011, he founded Meets the Eye Studios. He has been running his business ever since.
Marshall finished his high school at Miramonte High. He attended the University of California, Berkley. He studied computer science there and majored in psychology and graduated in 1984.

Meet Minecraft YouTuber’s Technoblade Mom, Mary Beth Gray
At the end of the video, Mary Beth Gray, Technoblade’s mother, leaves a written message at the end of the video. The message reads, “From Technoblade’s earliest online days, he has always strategized to delight and reward his audience”.
He further added, “Even after his eventual success he somehow manages to maintain his humility, striking a charming balance between confidence and self-deprecating wisdom. He eschews personal fame and works hard to keep his true identity a secret, and we ask that you respect his wishes. to protect his privacy and the privacy of his family”.
“This past year has been very difficult for our son as he battles stage four cancer,” he continued. “But he didn’t complain and continued to use his famous strategic mind to try to beat what he knew was an almost impossible possibility. My son’s bravery on this road is a brilliant lesson to all of us who are privileged to walk with him. Thank you for sharing his journey through it all, as he does the work he loves for his beloved fans”.
Mary is the daughter of Technoblade’s grandparents Phyllis Price Gray (grandmother) and Carroll Rufman Gray (grandfather). Mary’s mother died on December 17, 2018 at the age of 84. Meanwhile, his grandfather died on September 5, 2019 at the age of 87.
Mary had an older brother named Thomas Carroll Gray who lived with his family in Hillsborough, NC.
In July 2022, Mary Beth Gray is 63 years old. He was born in June 1959.
Mary Beth Gray is the co-owner of Meets the Eye, a company started by her ex-husband. He holds a BA in English and Zoology from Louisiana State University.
