Ted Cruz has decided to weigh in on Chrissy Teigen’s “medical abortion.”
The “pro-life” senator from Texas basically called the “Cravings” author a liar about losing her son, Jack, at 20 weeks pregnant.

In a new clip from her podcast, “The Verdict” and posted by “The Recount” on Twitter, Cruz said Teigen was mistaken in saying what she thought was a miscarriage was actually an abortion.
Both of their comments on mid-pregnancy fetal loss came after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Teigen is “pro-choice.”
Cruz claims the former “Sports Illustrated” model did not have an abortion because it falls under the mother’s lifetime exemption.

“If there is a medical procedure in that context it is not an abortion. It is the law in all 50 states and should be the law in all 50 states that doctors can intervene to save a mother’s life even if it means the tragic loss of a child,” he said. “He may want to describe it as an abortion in this political context, but he described it at the time as an abortion and it certainly sounds like an accurate description.”

During Teigen’s appearance on “We Made That Choice,” she revealed her big mistake when she told the world she lost their third child.
The former “Lip Sync Battle” co-host admitted that she recently realized “abortion” was the word she needed to use for the situation she was dealing with.
“I told the world we had a miscarriage, the world agreed we had a miscarriage, all the headlines said it was a miscarriage,” she admitted.

Following her revealing speech at the convention, Teigen’s Twitter feed was flooded with endless disturbing and vile messages.
He shared the comments on Twitter on Friday, September 17.
Along with a screenshot of the message she tweeted, “I knew this was going to happen, and honestly I’ve seen you do your worst so if this makes you feel better, great. It doesn’t make me feel worse though.”
One wrote, “I think we called it off,” while another wrote, “She’s a drama queen.”
Many others accused her of sharing her abortion story for attention and clickbait.

“It sounds like a miscarriage but he wants to stay relevant. AND they use his story to fit their narrative. At the end of the day, idgaf,” another replied.
However, the accusation of WHY she chose to save her life and abort her dying child did not end up remaining relevant.
“He was drunk when he made that decision….. what a horrible act he has to deal with now that he’s sober,” one replied.
Many others accused her of lying and not deserving of children.

Teigen made sure to find out where this comment was coming from.
“This isn’t like, a daily letter or something btw. It’s a glamor magazine comment thread! Cruel,” he wrote in a follow-up tweet.
Teigen has been very transparent about her feelings about not realizing she had an abortion.
“I was silent, feeling weird because I didn’t understand it that way,” he said at the summit as originally reported by Hollywood Reporter. “I became very upset because I didn’t, at first, say what it was, and I felt stupid that it took me over a year to really understand that we had an abortion.”
She is currently pregnant with her fourth child with John Legend.
