‘Teen Mom’ star Jenelle Evans has officially filed to end her marriage to David Eason after 6 years of marriage.
According to legal documents, the ‘Teen Mom 2’ alumna filed a court complaint to “separate” from her husband after major legal trouble involving her 14-year-old son.

In the filing, the reality star slams Eason and points to his erratic behavior including his admission of killing their pet dog, to his current legal troubles from allegedly assaulting the 14-year-old.
One report claims the separation filing discussed his alleged “refusal to work” and excessive spending of his income. He claims there were text exchanges with him that he called “criminal conversations.”
The legal documents, filed on February 23, claim the couple officially separated on February 16, “with the internet that the separation is permanent.”
“Throughout the marriage of both parties, the defendant has shown disturbing and sometimes disturbing behavior towards the plaintiff,” he said. Adding, “In May 2019, the Defendant shot and killed the family’s pet French Bulldog Nugget in front of the young children,” referring to their 7-year-old daughter.
As a result, Jenelle alleges that David’s killing of the family pet caused “Columbus County Department of Children Services, DSS to initiate proceedings against the parties and detain the aforementioned minors.”
Jenelle explained the latest incident, saying, “On or about September 28, 2023, a report was made to a medical professional by the plaintiff’s oldest minor child.” He said that following the Sheriff’s Office investigation, David was “subsequently charged with misdemeanor child abuse and felony assault by strangulation.”
Adding, “Despite the DSS proceedings underlying the voluntary dismissal, the defendant’s criminal case remains pending and the defendant is subject to several no-contact provisions in the aforementioned criminal case.”
“Since the DSS case was voluntarily dismissed, and primary physical custody [Jace] returned to the plaintiff, the defendant left the former conjugal residence on the plaintiff’s instructions so that [he] can go home with the plaintiff and his siblings,” Jenelle continued.

According to legal documents, Jenelle claims that David, who she says is currently living on her boat, has failed to check on her and ask about their daughter Ensley.
“[David] had spent his days drinking in a bar near the marina,” claimed Evans, per Sun.
She said that in addition, David had refused to provide a key to their mailbox, which had prevented him from picking up his son Jace’s prescriptions, thus “putting the young child at risk for adverse health effects.”
Jenelle also slammed David for abandoning their 16-year-old daughter Maryssa after he left their marital home.
“[David] did not develop a plan to ensure that her two young children were cared for and provided for [Jenelle] zero support and assistance with any of the minors at this time,” court documents allegedly state.
The former “Teen Mom” star said she needed the 16-year-old out of their home so she could focus on Jace.
Jenelle says she needs Maryssa out of the house so she can focus on Jace, “especially since [he] has just been forced into DSS custody for alleged domestic violence by the defendant.”
Eason has yet to respond to the allegations.
