The plot thickens in Jeannie Mai’s divorce from estranged husband Jeezy with new infidelity claims amid his alleged “interference” in her parental rights.
This week’s legal drama began with the “Soul Survivor” rapper’s allegations that his ex-boyfriend interfered with his parental rights. In response, the doting mother-of-one hit back with a counterclaim including shocking hints about the Hip-hop star’s extramarital affair, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
Jeannie Mai Highlights Prenuptial Agreement Clauses About Cheating In Divorce
In a new court document, “How Do I Look?” the host seemed to accuse the Hip-hop star of infidelity and asked the court to uphold the two’s prenuptial agreement which has consequences for cheating spouses.
Mai’s filing revealed the two had signed their prenuptial agreement on March 26, 2021. This document stipulates that a penalty must be paid if either party is unfaithful during their marriage.
Representing Mai’s interests, her lawyer stated that financial compensation must be met if the court enforces the prenup. The lawyer wrote:
“The wife further points out that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding adultery, which provides, in relevant part, that if either party engages in sexual relations, emotional relations, or emotional or sexual relations that lead to communication with a third party through all form of electronic communication.”

Forms of communication include but are not limited to “texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messaging.” If a party is guilty of the highlighted definition of sexual intercourse, their actions will “result in substantial financial penalties on the adulterous party as set forth in the Prenuptial Agreement.”
In other words, “cheating” may not be physical in nature – but some kind of extramarital emotional affair.
While Mai didn’t say if and when Jeezy allegedly cheated on her, she added more bombshell revelations in the legal filing. According to the entertainer’s lawyer, his client wants to be entitled to add more reasons behind his divorce from the “Leave You Alone” rapper.
The document states:
“The Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which the Wife does not wish to disclose here at this time in the hope that this matter can be resolved without having to publicly disclose such conduct.”
The host of “Miss Universe 2022” also explained that her long relationship with the father of her child is over, asking for a complete divorce from him.
Jeannie also asked for joint legal custody but with “final decision-making” and “permanent physical custody,” stating it was in the “best interests of the child.”
The divorce has taken a dramatic turn and fans can only imagine how it will play out in the future!
Jeezy Accuses Jeannie Mai Of Blocking His Bonding Time With Their Daughter
Before Mai’s alleged cheating, Jeezy called out his former lover in a legal filing for interfering with his father’s duties. The “Trap or Die” rapper accused the 44-year-old of acting like a “gatekeeper” whenever he wanted to spend time with their daughter, Monaco.
The media personality stated that they have agreed on a tour schedule that will last until the end of this year. However, the Hip-hop sensation claims his ex-wife’s behavior is said to be “causing confusion and tension” between the former couple, which could negatively impact their parenting.
“[Mai] has acted as a gatekeeper when it comes to [Jeezy] exercise parenting time with [Monaco],” the BET Award winner said in her legal filing. In addition, he asserted that Mai’s “interference” in his relationship with their daughter had put pressure on the development of his relationship with Monaco.
“Therefore, it is necessary at this point to separate, structure and clearly define the parties’ temporary legal and physical custody rights and establish a parenting schedule that is consistent with the best interests of the Child,” the document declared.
