Celebrities Who Have Used Surrogates To Have Children

The Australian citizen has two adopted children with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise. After her first marriage, Kidman married fellow Australian Keith Urban in 2006.
She struggled with infertility for years and tried almost every fertility treatment.
The couple welcomed their first child Sunday Rose Kidman Urban in July 2008. Kidman called Sunday a “miracle baby.”

She gave birth au-naturally.
However, when it came to conceiving their second child, Kidman and Urban chose to use a surrogate to help carry their baby.
A surrogate is defined as, “a substitute, especially a person who represents another person in a particular role or position.”
Surrogacy is “an arrangement, often supported by a legal agreement, in which a woman agrees to give birth/childbirth for another person or persons, who will become the child’s parents after birth.”
Kidman’s egg and Urban’s sperm were used to conceive their second child.

The couple welcomed another daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, via surrogate in December 2010.
In a statement, Kidman and Urban thanked “everyone who has been so supportive throughout this process, especially our gestational carrier.”
Sarah Jessica Parker, best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City,” is another actress who used a surrogate to welcome more children.
Park is married to fellow actor Matthew Broderick (“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”).

Khloe is showing absolutely ZERO signs of being pregnant this time around, and that’s because she welcomed her baby boy via surrogate.
In July, a rep for Koko confirmed the news.
“We can confirm True will have a sibling in November. Khloé is so grateful to an amazing surrogate for such a wonderful blessing. We ask for kindness and privacy so Khloe can focus on her family.”

Khloe Welcomes Second Child Via Surrogate

Despite welcoming their second child together, Khloe and Tristan are NOT together.
The statement continued, “Khloe and Tristan have not gotten back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting. The baby was conceived through a surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was pregnant with someone else in December.”
It is not known why Khloe chose a surrogate for her second child.
Her sister, Kim, had to go the surrogacy route after giving birth to her first two children due to a condition called placenta accreta.
Placenta accreta is a serious pregnancy condition that occurs when the placenta grows too deep into the uterine wall.
Kim used two different surrogates for her third and fourth children.

She welcomed her third child and second daughter, Chicago West, via surrogate in January 2018.
Two years later Kim and Kanye welcomed their fourth and second child, Psalm West, via surrogate.
