A famous model who jumped to her death from her Wall Street apartment building was one of the teenage girls flown to Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, according to newly unsealed court documents.
Ruslana Korshunova – who featured in ads for Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Nina Ricci perfumes – was just 18 when she was a passenger on the so-called Lolita Express belonging to a pedophile who died on June 7, 2006, the Daily Mail first reported report. after the latest batch of documents was opened on Thursday.

Her ex-boyfriend told The Post at the time that the model had issues that she continued to “work through”.
Korshunova’s trip to Epstein’s island came just weeks before the moneylender was arrested in 2006 and later convicted of having sex with an underage girl.
He was listed as being with him on the flight, along with three of his staff – bodyguard Igor Zinoviev, personal chef Lance Calloway and longtime assistant Sarah Kellen.

There’s also a woman known as Stephanie Tidwell — and an unidentified former UFC fighter.
It’s unclear what happened when Korshunova arrived on the island, where Epstein is known to have sexually exploited underage girls — sometimes with several big-name friends.

Years after his tragic death, Epstein’s victim’s lawyer Virginia Giuffre emailed him asking if he knew Korshunova.
“I think it’s a long shot you’ll recognize her, but read the article I’ve attached and then look at the pictures and see if you recognize her,” attorney Brad Edwards wrote in a newly opened 2011 email, attaching a link to a Newsweek report on the model’s death. .

But Giuffre replied: “I am sorry to hear the news of Ruslana, and my condolences to her family and friends.
“I can say that I have never had any meetings with him, sorry for not being able to help there.”

Korshunova died at the age of 20, after cutting a hole in the construction mesh covering her ninth-floor balcony, squeezing through it and jumping.
“I heard a sound like a gunshot or a bomb or an explosion,” said a shocked Con Ed worker speaking to nearby police.

“I looked down the road, and I said to the police, ‘Did that person just get hit by a car?’ ” said the worker, who identified himself only as Patrick, from Brooklyn.
The two men raced away. “His arm is crushed,” Patrick said. “His head was on the left side and blood was coming out of the pool.”
It was later revealed that Korshunova left a long message describing how she missed her home and family, and talked about problems with her love life.
Korshunova was working with the elite modeling agency IMG at the time of her death.
She had also lost a lot of weight in the months before her death and was having trouble balancing her personal life and her demanding work schedule, her ex-boyfriend told The Post at the time.
“I think she just gave up,” said Artem Perchenok, who was with the model on the last night of her short life.
He added that Korshunova kept her problems “bottled up.”
“When a job goes bad, he takes it on himself.”
He recently told his manager “he doesn’t know what to do with his life,” Perchenok said.
Korshunova, a green-eyed beauty, known as “The Russian Rapunzel” for her long, flowing chestnut locks, was discovered in 2003 when a London-based Model 1 booker, Debbie Jones, spotted her in a feature about the model’s hometown . Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Pomerantsev wrote in his book, “Nothing is True and Everything is Possible: The Surreal Heart of the New Russia,” that Korshunova was propelled to Rose of the World after her modeling career took off.
At the time, Pomerantsev said, Korshunova was also heartbroken after an oligarch – known only in the book as “Alexander” – dumped her.
