Travis Barker, his ex-wife Shanna Moakler and his daughter, Alabama Luella Barker, are grieving the loss of their pet, a French bulldog named Blue.
The beloved family canine died on Wednesday, November 2, leaving the drummer and his family devastated. The father-daughter duo shared heartwarming memories of the pet, who Travis described as “the best dog,” on their social media pages.

Those who have dogs know that they go to dog heaven when they die. However, that does not lessen the pain of its owners when they lose a beloved pet. That was the pain Alabama and Travis must have felt when they realized Blue had passed.
In a touching tribute to the pet, Alabama uploaded a short clip showing her hugging him tightly while rubbing his body. The teenager wrote, “I love you, Blue. You will never understand how much you have helped me in my darkest days.” He didn’t end there as he recalled:
“You sleep next to me, the way I throw you balls, and you’ll run with excitement, or the eyes you have that touch everyone, I’ll never forget you, my love. I know you will have the most amazing time in dog heaven. Until we meet again dear.”

Alabama added more videos and photos of the sweet dog, including one of them wrapped in what appears to be a blanket. His soulful eyes couldn’t stop looking directly at the camera.
Before Alabama shared the adorable pup’s video and photos, her mom Moakler had already written a sweet tribute to the cute dog. In a photo post on her Instagram story, she wrote, “Rest In Peace you beautiful boy! You are a beautiful friend and give a lot of love. #blu.”
As for Travis, his fearsome personality didn’t come across when he used his Instagram Story to announce Blue’s death to his fans. Uploading footage of him and Alabama rubbing him on the head, the Blink-182 star wrote:
“I will miss you Blue. You are the best dog. I’m always waiting for you to say something. Love you 4ever boy.”

He also shared an image of himself hugging Biru while kissing the dog. The record producer’s love for animals has always been evident to his first fans.
In fact, the father of two once admitted that he likes dogs more than people who have pictures of him and his pup on a boat, according to iHeart. Travis also shared a post with his “twin” – a Doberman Pinscher – earlier this year.
In April 2021, the pop-punk hitmaker released several photos of himself and Blue enjoying a roll in the grass. Her tattooed top was bare for all to see, with her eyes hidden behind a pair of dark shades.
Blue doesn’t seem to have a problem with her half-naked and sunglasses resting on Travis’ chest. In the caption, Travis declared, “Dogs never bite me. When Alabama turns a teenager in December, her dad is there to celebrate the milestone — albeit late. According to The Blast, Travis posted a birthday tribute to the blonde beauty on January 7, a week after D-Day, which is on Christmas Eve.
To that end, the “Feeling This” artist dropped a sweet photo of her and Alabama in their matching black outfits with a Christmas tree and some wrapped presents behind them. The celebrant was beautifully dressed in a black gown with dramatic ruffles on the sleeves and neckline.
She teamed the ensemble with black stilettos, silver jewelery and a center parting of her hair while her father looked dapper in a two-piece suit. Travis looked lovingly at his daughter with his arm around her waist as he leaned away from her in a model pose. For Alabama’s real birthday, Travis and his then-fiancee, Kourtney Kardashian, left no stone unturned for the lavish birthday celebration they threw for the birthday girl.
