The drummer’s family had a dog named Blue who sadly passed away recently. He is said to have been with them for years, as early as 2014, while he was still married to his ex-wife. Making sure to get only the best to help remember his Frenchie, the Blink-182 star invited renowned Los Angeles-based celebrity tattoo artist, Dr. Woo, to do the job. Barker posted images and videos to his Instagram page, revealing a realistic illustration of the late puppy.
In the first picture, the father-of-two, dressed in a white crew-neck shirt and black shorts, lays with his hands resting on his beanie-covered head in the tattoo parlor as the artist works on a design on him. left thigh near the knee. It’s safe to say everyone in the family is feeling the loss as he seems to be well loved by all of them. However, it seems to have hit his daughter, Alabama, harder than the rest of the family. Taking to her Instagram story, the young teenager wrote a sweet tribute.
Losing a much-loved pet is a feeling people can relate to, and The Blast shared that the family, Travis, his daughter and his ex-wife Moakler mourned the loss of their Blue French bulldog in their respective yards.
Devastated, the 16-year-old uploaded a short clip of her expiring story showing him hugging her tightly and rubbing her body. She wrote, “I love you, Blue. You will never understand how much you have helped me through my darkest days.”
The sad teenager remembers how she would sleep next to him and how he would throw his ball as he ran in excitement. Adding, “or the eyes you have that touch everyone, I will never forget you, my baby. I know you will have the most amazing time in dog heaven. Until we meet again, love.”
Not stopping there, she posted videos and photos of the little dog, including one wrapped in a blanket with soulful eyes looking directly into the camera. His mother also wrote, “Rest In Peace you beautiful boy! You are a beautiful friend and give a lot of love. #blu” across a photo of the cute puppy lying on the floor looking straight ahead.
The “Transplants” member uploaded a video of the father and daughter stroking Biru’s head while writing, “I will miss you, Biru. You are the best dog. I’m always waiting for you to say something. Love you 4ever, boy.” He even shared a piece of the crib as he planted a kiss on the dog.
