Popular R&B singer Trey Songz has been embroiled in a legal battle as he faces a lawsuit for sexual assault. The case stems from a 2013 incident in which Songz allegedly groped and exposed a woman’s breasts without her consent during an event at the Foxwoods Resort Casino, where he was performing.

According to court documents obtained by Page Sixthe plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, “thought it might be fun to politely take a photo” with Songz “in the background” while they were inside the Bacardi Gray Goose Vodka-sponsored tent.
However, things took a sad turn when the “Na Na” singer, 38, allegedly exposed her breasts in front of other attendees without her consent, leaving her in a state of shock.
Her legal team claimed Songz, when allegedly assaulting their client, “degradingly” yelled, “Titty in the open … titty in the open,” prompting her to “nervously” laugh at the singer’s actions to “help her shock and insulted.”
Plaintiffs have taken legal action, filing suit against Songz for sexual assault, seeking at least $10 million in compensation for the emotional distress she suffered because of the incident.
Plaintiffs Previously Chose to Settle Out of Court

In an earlier letter obtained by the newspaper, the plaintiff’s lawyers claimed he was horrified by the prolonged emotional stress, adding that their client couldn’t stop thinking about it and ended up quitting his job months after the incident out of shame.

He added, “Mr. Neverson’s lawyer’s suggestion that the US Constitution would deny a survivor of sexual abuse the right to seek justice is a slap in the face to all survivors of abuse. The graphic video speaks for itself.”
Trey Songz’s Lawyer Denies The Allegation
