Jesy Nelson could be the next in line to be asked to perform at the coronation of King Charles III in May.
At least, that’s what the internet says!
The hilarious rumor gained traction online because Adele and Ed Sheeran turned down offers to perform at the event.

OKAY! Magazine reported that the British singer turned down an invitation to perform at a concert on May 7 following the coronation.
According to a royal insider, the King was “very keen” that the couple appeared as part of the celebrations.
Several other British singers including Harry Styles, Elton John, and The Spice Girls were asked to perform, but also reportedly declined to perform.
Since so many people have turned down the offer of the show, the Twitterverse has been buzzing about what the (not-so-famous) British singer might be asked to perform.

“Watch Jesy Nelson end up at Coronation,” wrote one.
“Imagining Jesy Nelson and Liam [Payne] at the coronation and I can’t stop laughing. Imagine taking it off,” said another.
“Jesy Nelson’s solo career is not very notable. I predict Little Mix will reunite with Jesy Nelson as part of their group once again. They will perform at the Coronation concert, & King Charles will appear in a special pre-rec segment with them where they sing Shout Out To My Ex,” another joked.
There is no truth to this wild rumor so far.
Also, what song will Jesy perform? He’s no longer a member of Little Mix, so he most likely won’t be able to perform any of their songs.
His 2021 solo EP, “Boyz,” was a huge flop and he hasn’t released any new music since.
Earlier this year, she posted about surviving through challenges.
Nelson posted a cryptic and inspirational quote to his Instagram Story in January.
One quote reads, “ONE OF THE MOST COMMON CHARACTERISTICS OF ANY SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUAL IS THEIR ABILITY AND WILLINGNESS TO PERSEVERE THROUGH CHALLENGES.”
Jesy’s Solo Career Wasn’t As Successful As He Hoped
The quote is from Roxie Nafousi.
It’s no secret that Nelson has had to overcome some challenges throughout his career in the spotlight.
She rose to fame on “The X Factor UK” in 2011 alongside Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
They would go on to become one of the BIGGEST British girl groups since the Spice Girls. They formed Little Mix.

Unfortunately for Nelson, her weight and looks were the target of intense public scrutiny during her time with Little Mix.
He helped pilot a 2019 BBC documentary titled, “Odd One Out.”
“Little Mix star Jesy Nelson continues her journey of recovery as she opens up about the abuse she suffered at the hands of cyberbullies and its impact on her mental health, the description reads.
Nelson tried to kill himself while he was in Little Mix.
She detailed the experience on Fearne Cotton’s “Happy Place” podcast.
“I went to the hospital and then I had a music video like a week after that…,” he said. “And obviously my mom found out and she was upset and she immediately said, ‘This is it, you’re not doing this anymore.’ Because my mom is the kind of mom that’s like, ‘Jes, we can’t give a damn what you do as long as you’re happy. That’s all I care about.’ So, he was like, ‘No. This is not happening again. I’m putting my foot down and you’re going to get out of this.'”

Nelson revealed the experiment took place during the early years of being in Little Mix.
“I didn’t know what to do at the time because it was the early stages of Little Mix,” she admits.
He left the group in December 2020 and launched his solo career in early 2021.
Clearly, Nelson was very happy with his decision to jump from the girl group.
He shared another quote from Osho Pranaam that reads, “Respect yourself, love yourself, because there never was anyone like you and there never will be.”
This fits with how far he has come in his mental health journey since forming Little Mix and leaving the group.
