Vin Diesel Slammed For Making Woman ‘Uncomfortable’ In Resurfaced Clip Amid Assault Allegations

Vin Diesel is under fire online over an old interview that has resurfaced amid scathing allegations of sexual assault made against him by former assistant Asta Jonasson. Diesel has since denied the claims, calling them “outrageous.”

Now, Diesel has been branded “creepy” for being too “teasing” and crawling on his knees at a Brazilian YouTuber during an interview to promote his 2017 film, “XXX: The Return of Zander Cage.”

Diesel is now in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Shortly after a shocking sexual assault lawsuit was filed against him by a former assistant, a video clip from an old interview featuring Diesel and YouTube star Carol Moreira has been reposted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

An interview from 2017 showed Diesel being very flirtatious with Moreira, whom he described as “the most beautiful girl in Brazil.”

In the clip, the actress says, “God, you’re so beautiful, you’re so beautiful, man, am I right or wrong?” while turning back to face the crew member behind the camera.

He then added, “How am I supposed to do this interview?” A visibly embarrassed Moreira replied, “Thank you.”

Diesel continued to shower his interviewer with compliments, stating, “She’s so beautiful. Let’s get out of here, let’s go to lunch. My god, I love him. Look how beautiful she is. God, I love him. Wow.”

I have to say, I’ve always had a weird feeling about Vin Diesel since I saw this video years ago.

As disappointing as it is, I can’t say that the news surrounding it is particularly surprising. pic.twitter.com/rpGKPHnujB

Moreira, in an attempt to change the subject, asked the star to say “I Am Groot” in Portuguese, but after saying the phrase, the actor quickly continued his praise of the YouTuber.

Things turned awkward when the actress knelt and crawled over to Moreira, who looked uncomfortable, saying, “She’s so beautiful, you can’t do an interview with her.”

The actor finally stood up and said, “Oh my God, someone save me. When will this turn into a wonderful world? When did this turn into the most beautiful girl in Brazil? When did this turn into I love you?”

Moreira, for his part, continued to say, “Thank you very much,” until the interview ended.

The video clip emerged after a sexual assault lawsuit was filed against Diesel by his former assistant. The woman, identified as Asta Jonasson, accused the actor of groping and kissing her while alone in a hotel suite in 2010.

According to a legal document obtained by ExplosionJonasson claims she “struggled constantly to release his grip while repeatedly saying no.”

Jonasson was responsible for “hosting parties and fulfilling Vin Diesel’s requests, including being in close physical proximity to” the actor.

The lawsuit details how Diesel allegedly relentlessly followed Jonasson into the suite’s bathroom and continued to have fun “while leaning on Ms. Jonasson and keeping her pinned to the wall with the left side of her body.”

When the star was done with the alleged act, Jonasson claims he turned on the sink in the bathroom, and, on the way out, told her, “No one can say s— about Asta.”

Jonasson is also suing the actor’s sister, Samantha Vincent, the president of the One Race company, for firing her immediately after the incident.

He is now asking the court to award him “compensatory damages and other special and general damages,” including “lost earnings, wages, bonuses and other employment benefits” that he would have received had it not been for the alleged assault.

Freedman said, “Let me make it clear that Vin Diesel absolutely denies these allegations in their entirety. This is the first he has heard of a claim over 13 years old made by a worker who is said to be nine days old.”

“There is clear evidence that completely refutes this outlandish claim,” he added, per Deadline.
