A 37-year-old Virginia mother was charged with indecency this week after police caught her naked with a missing 15-year-old boy – whose twin brother is also accused of abusing.
Ashleigh Watts was initially arrested when police came to her home in Chesapeake, Va., in July looking for the teenager and she asked them to wait outside while wearing a bra and letting her dog out.
“Officers advised a few minutes later that Watts returned to the door with his two dogs still in the residence, allowing them to enter,” court records obtained by state Law & Crime.
“When the officers removed the mattress in the upstairs bedroom, they could see a young white male hiding in a small space wearing only boxer shorts.
“When asked by the officer if he [the runaway boy]he advised him and presented his Study Permit.”
At the time, Watts was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but his crime has since been updated to include three counts of lewdness with a minor for the sick relationship he allegedly had with the teenager.

The twins live across the street and are friends with Watts’ son, who is around the same age, according to court documents.
Watts allegedly began preying on the brothers more than a year before he was arrested.
Police began investigating the mother-of-two when an anonymous whistleblower reported an alleged sexual relationship with the boy in February.
That same month, Watts’ husband would come home at about 2 a.m. to find his wife not anchored on the couch with one of the teenage boys, who was “pretending to be asleep,” he later admitted to investigators.

When questioned by his parents, the boy reportedly said he went to Watts’ house to smoke marijuana and fell asleep on the couch.
The two families are “very close friends” and have an open-door policy between their homes.
The boy’s parents told officers that the brothers were often at the Watts home for what they assumed was quality time with their son.
However, behind closed doors, Watts allegedly sexually and emotionally manipulated the teenager, with one of the boys confiding the sickening abuse to another neighbor.

“[The neighbor] told him that [redacted] admitted to her that he had had sex with Ms. Watts since June 2022,” police wrote in a probable cause affidavit.
“[Redacted] told her that she and Miss Watts were in love and that when she was seventeen (17) years old, she would divorce her husband and they would marry.”
Authorities say that after the alleged 13-month relationship came to light, the teenager ran away from home and was found hiding in Watts’ bedroom three weeks later on July 26, WAVY reported.

His brother admitted to investigators that Watts would invite him to smoke weed and give him a pair of underwear.
He also claimed he would touch her inappropriately, even though she begged him to stop.
The teenager’s parents and Watts’ husband filed a protective order against her.
Documents filed by his estranged partner describe large amounts of cash, marijuana and a prepaid cell phone reportedly found after his arrest.
Watts faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
