Lenny Von Dohlen Cause of Death
American actor Lenny Von Dohlen died on July 5, 2022. The news of his death was confirmed by his sister Catherine Von Dohlen through a Facebook post.
He posted, “The world lost a great man on July 5th. Brother Len is passionate about everything and everyone. He always leads; whether it’s a fascinating conversation, an artistic creation or a visit to a new place. He likes to laugh. He continued his spiritual journey. Living life to the fullest in his memory”.
Meanwhile, his manager Steven J Wolfe, confirmed that Lenny died at his home in Los Angeles “after a long illness”.
In 1981, Lenny made his television debut on NBC’s Emmy-winning program, Kent State, and in 1983, he made his film debut in the Oscar-winning picture. Tender Mercies. 1984 sci-fi romantic comedy film Electric dreams offered him the main part.
Lenny portrayed the agoraphobic Harold Smith in David Lynch’s work Twin Peaks and prequel films Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Harold Smith won’t leave his house. Laura Palmer, played by Sheryl Lee, gives her secret diary to Harold, and after she is killed, Donna Hayward befriends Harold as she witnesses Laura’s death. Harold’s story, however, ends when Donna tries to retrieve the diary, and he eventually commits to hanging himself after losing faith in the goodness of humans.
Outside of the Twin Peaks universe, Von Dohlen also plays Burton Jernigan, one of the villains in it Own House 3.

On December 23, 2019, Lenny posted about his father, “Really appreciate all your birthday wishes. So grateful to and for this man, my Father—He was the best man I ever knew, who left us too soon to lose 10 years ago, but all the better for knowing him”.
In May 2019, she posted a picture of her mother on Mother’s Day on Facebook. She wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day”.
